Alice: Madness Returns and Spec Ops: The Line. Got dammit, Steam. I promised myself to only buy 2 games(Spec Ops: The Line and Closure) but only a few days in and I have already bought 2 games which weren't on that list.

Eh. The one reason PC is so great is that it is such an open platform. You really don't have that with a console and I doubt the SteamBox will change that. However if Steam works similar to the way it does on PC then this might be a great way to help indie games reach a wider audience.

Bought They Bleed Pixels. I promised myself to not impulse-buy any games this sale, but it just looked so cool. So far it seems pretty fun too. The platforming feels almost as good as Super Meat Boy, the art style looks pretty cool and I really like the checkpoint mechanic.

I cast thread resurrection! I genuinely enjoy seeing random screenshots from other people. Just like a picture says more than a 1000 words, so does a screenshot. Because of busy boring real life stuff I haven't been gaming all that much lately, next to the occasional TF2 game with friends I have pretty much only been playing American McGee's Alice. But oh my is it cool looking: "Alice" "Pawn" "Sir Pig" "Sideways" "Rabbit just wants a cup of Tea" "King"

We had a christmas dinner thing at school today. We ate stuff and watched 2012(which is a horrible movie btw). Made red and green brownies with friends the day before. To my surprise they were all eaten, even the green ones(which didn't look very healthy to eat to be honest). Now I just have to do some quick chores, get to work and go to sleep after. Gotta work tomorrow and Sunday as well, so that's gonna be hell. But after that I can finally have my not-really-deserved holiday.

So far we've had 2 days of piss-snow(which apparently was already enough to make half the town have a power out) and other than that only rain and wind. OT: Enjoying a nice cup of tea hoping to do some gaming with a friend later on.

The game is totally worth it. It's really linear(whether that is a bad thing or not is up to you to decide), has a few flaws in terms of game mechanics, but looks great if your machine can handle it and oozes atmosphere. + EVRYBODEHS RUSHIAN!

Since I'm sitting home today all day long anyway, I've taken up re-learning Norwegian. I've got a question, though: is it true there is no conjugation in Norwegian?

Being home, sick. Usually when I'm home sick I like to think about the upside that I don't have to go to school. But now that that darn girl is in the picture I feel awful about not being able go to school. Being sick is a loose-loose situation, who would have known.

My family is not Irish (but it would be a lot more fun if we were) were from all over, but most of it is Dutch, although I think there was some Viking in there considering what I look like and how I'm built. Being Norwegian and living in the Netherlands makes me think I might or might not be your father.

I'm with Chuck on this one. They most likely don't mean the overall vague idea of the ending like the ones Ross suggested, but rather mean something more specific. But then again, Notch could say the ending of Minecraft is unlike any other game and be right. Marketing-esque claims like these should always be taken with a large spoon of salt.

It's even even even worse when I have a buttload of time and stuff to do but just can't get anything done because all I can think about is this longing feeling of being with a certain someone to the point where I can't wait for the weekend to be over and school to start so I will see her again.

American Mcgee's Alice. Even though I am not a big a fan 3rd person platformers, the interesting world and awesome dialogue with the cat make it quite fun.

Tell me about it. It's even worse when there is tons of productive stuff you can do.
