K, I'm not doing streams anymore. Way to many ads, to often.
-
Also JESUS CHRIST so many ads.
-
BronyStating. Decided I am going to watch in on a Stream today.

I actually liked Skyrim a lot as well but calling it the Greatest PC game of all time is a far stretch.

Well I think the community among platform will be split regardless, I doubt many people will make use of the PS3 PC crossplay anyway. -
Usernames maybe.

Counterstrike: Global Offensive

Fair enough. I think though that maybe the mindset behind the CS:GO changes are the more realistic/life like graphics = good graphics(as a heads up, when I say graphics I also mean art direction with that, the word "graphics" in gaming seems to mean different things to different people). Personally, I don't think that can be applied to CS:GO. As proven by user maps in CSS, people don't care whether they are fighting in a middle eastern city or a big blob of orange so I think the more saturated colors, especially on dust, worked pretty well. -
I don't think it's gonna be a success either, but I think it is fair to know that there is more behind DNF than just gearbox made a crappy game.

Counterstrike: Global Offensive

I sure as hell don't. I mean the game isn't supposed to emulate super-serious terrorist/anti-terrorist scenario, so I don't think the grittiness is required. -
Well to be fair. DNF is kind of a special baby, that has gone through many surgeries by different doctors and a lot law suits. In the end no one wanted it but Gearbox decided to take it no matter how ugly it is and raise it to a mentally challenged but still somewhat functional adult.

We should start a call for communication steam group.

Yeah, I don't think that color pallet is necessarily bad. Bioshock is my fav of all time and that game is as brown as it gets(though to its credit, Arcadia's colors look all the more amazing because of it). It's just that we have to much of it. But that is like you said because of the setting and because everyone wants a gone-to-hell world to play in. -
That doesn't seem like a good idea..at ALL.

Counterstrike: Global Offensive

Are doom and Quake not modern? Are they medieval? What I mean is that many games set in the present day or a little bit in the future are mostly brown and grey. As opposed to games with a more fantasy setting who usually have a more color in them. -
wat just happened?
-
So it's like the DOOM of cinema?

I don't. The modern color pallet consisting of brown and grey is getting kind of boring. -
If you are gonna put words in everyone mouths and start acting like a child because you can't take a opinion different to yours even though you clearly asked for it then for me it is /thread as well.

Sorry for getting off topic on this but that is exactly why I feel so negatively of CoD. For some reason what you said works for CoD games and makes them sell millions of copies. And many other games are trying to imitate that hoping for the same results.

Yeah but you have to see it from her perspective. To her this utopia is heaven, for her and for everyone around her. I feel this will kind of eventually turn into a philosophic discussion on what you can and what you cannot blame someone for.

Well but that's gonna be true of any medium. If you like something that lacks a core aspect of the medium than you're not gonna get that much support.
