Mechanics in games that should just die.

Defining pay to win gets fuzzy, though. I for example don't have a problem if multiplayer games allow a play to pay to skip progression content. Simply because it allows with people with more money than time to enjoy all of the content as well as letting players with more time than money enjoy content. -
I know a friend who has(had?) a phobia of riding on buses specifically. So it's a thing apparently.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does the World Youth day entail?

Herzlich wilkommen! Well I am reading your posts in the right order then, as I've read other threads before reading this one as well ^^

Can't say I'm that much a fan of his voice, but it's a neat twist on Little Red Riding Hood. 5/10 I'll continue with the non-english songs: -O9OWfIjSzI

But having these challenges come naturally or artificially are not mutually exclusive. There can be achievements which people can hunt after, as well as self imposed challenges(see: speed running or melee only challenges in games without achievements for them for example). -
MV_3Dpw-BRY Dat Drive soundtrack, though.

Wait. You're angry just in case someone did something bad? Or do you suspect someone did something shitty?

Prisoners. Well I just wanted to distract myself, so I just wanted to watch a movie that would pull me into it's world and spit me back out when the credits roll..... I don't know why I chose Prisoners. Damn this movie left me with just a damn depressed feeling. But in all the right ways. I know now why it was on my must watch list, it's a great movie. Hugh Jackman being stupid talented as an actor once again. A very good thriller, the atmosphere is hauntingly tense at times. I definitely recommend this one, but you better be ready to just get real depressed. No lightheartedness here.

The Caped Crusader tries stand-up. It all seems to be going well, until a heckler reveals to be more than he appears to be.... Suicide Squad

While I personally have nothing against most achievements(after all I can just ignore them). Those story achievements are beyond comprehension to me,. Getting to progress in a story based game should be it's own reward, right? -
Congratulations! I'm procrastinating just a few more minutes before working out and going to work.

Thanks ^^ I'm flattered, but you don't have to call me jesus

It's somewhat similar but not the same thing. For starters the GotG team is a team of anti-heroes rather than a team of villains. Which is a big difference. The tone of the movie is also different. GotG is way more lighthearted/comedic than Suicide Squad. SS is funny, yes. But it definitely also has a darker side.

Suicide Squad The critics have not been kind to the movie. Personally I don't agree. Yes, the pacing is a bit off at times. Yes, some characters could have been more fleshed out(really hard to do though, when you have such a big cast of main characters). Yes, the second half gets a bit predictable. BUT, the tone of the movie was exactly what I though it would be: stylized, darkish, and rather comedic. Which was lovely. All the actors/characters you thought were going to be great were great: Will Smith was Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie was a perfect Harley Quinn, Jared Leto was a great joker(Heath Ledger worthy) and even Jai Courtney was good. The way Enchantress was put on screen is also worth mentioning. Her visual effects, the way she moved and sounded is damn great. All in all, the movie was exactly what I was expected. And I expected a good movie. Not ground breaking, but definitely worth watching.

Here we go. So hey/hi/hello/good day/good morning/good evening/goodnight/greetings, I am not that new actually. I already introduced myself about 5 years, 4 months and 30 days ago. After doing that I enjoyed this forum for about 2 years after which....I don't really know. Life happened, I guess. Looking back on that time, this forum provided comfort, fun, and a platform to express my (sometimes cringe worthy)thoughts. Since then a lot has changed and I never really had any platform like this. I have a sprawling social life, but that is different. I haven't been part of a "bigger" community like this. I still youtube and reddit heavily, but I never post. I stay passive, lurking and absorbing content without producing any of my own. Luckily for me, one thing that hasn't changed is that I am still a massive digital hoarder. So I came across this bookmark and figured: let's try this again. So here I am. Trying this again. But enough of my motivations, this is getting way to serious. In order to write a new and improved introduction I decided to take a look at my old introduction and see what has changed: ....very elaborate. Anyway, I am a bit older now, 20 to be exact. My nationalities and living place still apply. So does my love for Ross' work(although I have to admit that I'm not quite up to date). I don't really do "gfx, vfx or photo manipulation" anymore, my hobbies are quite different now. I mostly enjoy fitness and I have been doing(and really enjoying) Ballroom dance for two years now. Back then, I believe, I wanted to study something computer related as well. But come September I am going to start my first year of Human Movement Sciences. PC gaming is still something I do and enjoy....sortof. While I definitely still like doing it, I can not bring myself to spend many hours at a time on a multiplayer game(though a good story driven game can still hook me). Besides that I have less time than I used to(between school, 2 jobs and 2 sports). Only games I play really regularly at the moment are Hearthstone and Overwatch(because I can play them in short bursts), the VERY occasional game of TF2 and sometimes I dabble in OSRS. I do, however, still love doing multi-day lan parties with friends whenever I can. Well enough talking about myself. Let's hope I pull this off instead of going silent in a weeks time Goodbye, take care, later, cya, until the next one, so long, I'm out(or in), Kirkreng(I regret making this my name, stupid 14 year old me )

Bioshock: Infinite. Was not going to pre-order it. So I decided I might as well just go and get the retail version. 3 bloody discs and sexy reversible cover. I am satisfied.

Bring us the game and wipe away your social life. That was the deal.

Nail polish. I am starting to like that stuff.

Bribing, are we now? Being on the interwebs, while I really should be in bed.
