Not gonna happen. Even if they fall(which they will, eventually) another less than good game will take its place. Call of Duty caters to casual gamers which are a lot more than the hardcore gamers. And most casual gamers have never played a better game, CoD is the best they know. Therefor it will keep selling. Unlikely, Activision is not one to risk losing a franchise so huge by making dramatic changes to the gameplay. And in the end, Activision controls what comes in the game.
