Maybe a little late but this is my loot from the Steam Summer Sale: -
So. A dollar for one Mann Up mode ticket. Opinions?

http://www.commandandconquer.com/free/ Welp, excitement down the drain. GJ, EA.
-
Yeah, I am not getting my hopes up either.

Don't have a picture but I bought my Brother's PC since he was getting a new one anyways. Dem shpecs: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 6-core 3.20 GHz Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB 12 glorious GBs of DDR3 667 MHz RAM -
Better without Arnie? I thought not.

What's bad about getting up early? I love it.
-
I joined and saw him before you did. :evenbiggerhipsterglasses:

Eh, the game doesn't look amazing(from a technical standpoint). So I don't think you'd need that much to run it properly anyways.
-
Apparently you can play as any of the classes. The team will just be 6 players, though.
-
Did they or did someone screw up and interpret "CS:GO" or "10 foot UI" as "Half Life 3"?
-
Being pretty damn pissed that my parents screwed me over and I don't get to go to Gamescom(my mom told me my dad would go with me back in like July and I even repeatedly confirmed it with them. But then my dad says that he never agreed to it and now he won't go with me. And since I don't have a ride and really don't have the money to pay 50 eu just for a train ticket I can't go).

Sources are blogs, forums, gamesmedia ect. No guarantees. Also it notes Bioshock: Infinite which I remember 2K announcing it won't be at gamescom(and they really don't have a reason to be at gamescom either), so there's that. Also again, with the TF2 MVM and the Steam community updates going on it is unlikely they will show something so big at the same time as well. Sorry to burst your bubble.

It seems like we won't be able to play Sniper or Spy. They don't appear in the trailer and the site speaks of a team of six people. Edit: and Pyro, durrr.

David Belle is a beast.

New TF2 ARG in a nutshell as of August 12th, 2012.

I want you to watch this: Let it sink in and tell me that was somehow more than a joke drawn out for one and a half minute. These videos are just for cheap(but witty) laughs. -
Because a bunch of other people that have keys have to wait before they can join the lag/bug fest that is the beta. And I get to play now because I luckily stumbled across a giveaway that shouldn't have happened in the first place(at least not at that time). Feels dirty.

All the other Meet the videos don't have much more than that do they? -
They're instance access key, too. I feel kind of bad using mine :/
-
Solid plan. OT: I am gonna clean up my room because it looks like crap and I have other productive stuff I should be doing instead.

Meet the Pyro was underwhelming? It was an animated short about the Pyro, what else where you expecting? OT: Here is some more in depth info: -
So... Steam's going to sell regular applications now.
Kirkreng replied to Obsidian's topic in Valve Games / Valve Stuff
The problem with that is that even if there does come a decent competition, what is the thousands of people who have 100+ games on Steam. I'm sure as hell not gonna abandon all my games all of the sudden. Gaben is such an evil genius. -
What? Rarity doesn't seem like the person to ever do it with anyone that isn't of super high class, even if the needed the money. You guys are crazy.

How is it derailing the thread? It is about why Software developers would or would not make use of the DRM part of Steam. How more on topic can you get? That's not going to happen. Valve already gives the option for developers to make use or not make use of the DRM features of Steam. And I find it unlikely that any big time Software developers such as Adobe(if they will be on Steam at all) will make use of said DRM. That is because tablets(which the interface is clearly based of) weren't popular until recently. -

But they haven't gone as far as to force you too launch a client that houses all Adobe products you own where you have to log in and it checks whether your copy is legit. Why would they suddenly decide to do it this way now?
