I'm not entirely sure there's any real indication as to when Portal is set. You never really see anything that can give the player a good idea as to what year it is. I could be wrong though. Kotaku had a chance to chat with one of Portal 2's writers, Erik Wolpaw, who suggested that there would be a bridge chapter that will connect Portal and Portal 2, explaining some details about the vast stretch of time that has passed between the two games. Wolpaw did not reveal the nature of this prologue, or how soon gamers would be able to see it. Wolpaw also confirmed some frequently discussed issues surrounding the timelines of the Half-Life and Portal games. "Portal is after Half-Life 1 and before Half-Life 2," Wolpaw said. Come on, that show wouldn't reach 8 seasons if it was redundant and repetitive, right? Jemp... some shows on TV reach 12 seasons by repeating themselves. Yeah, you're probably right. They would only cancel a show if people are already screaming for it to be cancelled.

Those games are alright, but definitely the weaker points of the franchise. I think I've tried that. It's an alright game. The franchise itself, is I think, losing its touch already. Every time a new game spawns every year, nothing really new was introduced. The NFS MMO is a bad idea imo. As for hot pursuit, I've seen it and I gotta say it makes me want to play that game.

The more recent NFS really aren't that good anymore. Yeah, they're kind of a bit repetitive imo, but still, it's fun to drive and race.

Two and a half men was my favorite sitcom. But then Charlie Sheen ruined it all by going nuts which resulted in the show being cancelled. Shame, it was a really good show.

I only played NFS series on my PC. Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover. I'm not that into racing games, it's just fun to drive and mod your car

No, what I mean is that Portal 3 and HL ep 3 would kind of fused into one, with the original HL storyline intact, but with a Portal-like testing chambers as an added level to the game. +rep for awesome post This made my day. T-up for this

I agree, you should be ranked on quality of your posts, not quantity. perhaps a system where you need both rep and posts to achieve a certain rank like Expendable - negative rep npc_citizen - 0 to 50 posts & 0 to 5 rep Bona Fide Regular - 50 to 100 posts & 5 to 10 rep Serial Poster - 100 to 150 posts & 10 to 15 rep Civil Protection - if your a mod Gorden Freeman - Ross Scott etc, they should just be somewhat witty and should be relevant. But what about if the negative rep titles are Combine/Alien-related, and the positive reps are Resistance titles, like: -51-75: Zombie -25-50: Headcrab -10-24: Manhack -0-9: City Scanner 10-25: Citizen 26-45: Rebel 46-70: *can't think of anymore* -or something of that sort. This is getting better with all of our suggestions

A very nice idea. Might I suggest the titles be based on the HL universe? Something like this: 0-9: City Scanner 10-24: Manhack 25-49: Combine Patrol 50-87: Combine Overwatch 88: - Combine Advisor 89-99: *Something awesome that is higher than the Advisor* --or something similar..
