I think some people still don't understand

The whole idea is very noble. However, VALVe is like a holy man comparing to most corporations. And Ross explained before that he has to solve legal stuff with Machinima first in order to publish more Freeman's Mind without weird consequences on Machinima's side. This show is "the easiest" do make so it's not about funding the show itself it's about getting money for PUBLISHING it.

Yeah, I've never seen anything like this before (as I experienced the whole Machinima-Ross interaction almost directly ) It's like someone in higher management COMPLETELY lost contact with reality and now they use Dollars and cold calculation to establish their own rights just to gather all talented people and make..I think sth like a talent -concentration-camp... And these new laws are enforced without any meaningful consultations with the other side whatsoever, not mentioning such a basic thing as elementary respect to your business partners.... It's just outrageous!

Fun... Let me think 1. When I was little I automatically started crying when hearing this one Polish Christmas carol ("Lulaj że Jezuniu"). It always made me feel incredibly sad and I just burst into tears. When my mom used to take me to church in Christmas time the same thing was happening EVERY time. We had to get out of the church so I'd calm down. Now I just don't like this carol. I still think it's soooo sad. There must be something in the melody and words together. 2. When I was a baby I had to get my meals at EXACT time, otherwise I started crying so loud that I was drawing attention of everyone. Especially if we were in the middle of the street, people were staring at my mom, as if she was torturing her baby. And it was just one minute after my scheduled meal time! Nowadays I'm not very punctual. There was a time I was getting late for almost every meeting. Lately I'm punctual in 80% 3. For some reason I used to hate boys when I was in kindergarten. I even got into a figt once and I won! the guy was crying! And at primary school I kicked one guy's balls, kinda by accident. He never bothered me again. Now I mostly like men except the ones that are morons 4. I have this idea that the work system we live in now is flawed and if someone's job can be mostly done by a robot, the person who works there is a robot. I only really accept the sense of a job that you can do with putting your individual touch into it. Having boss and this working chierarchy system ...I mean I've worked like that but I could never understand the sense of it. Even now it's like accepting someone's crazy dream just for the sake of it... Luckily there are some alternatives.... 5. At the beginning of my university years I really wanted to have a boyfriend so I dated more than 20 guys in a period of about two years... But these were only internet dates and there were some really weird people and some normal too. It usually ended up on one date. Some I'd avoid and never ever meet them in person (!) but I wanted to be nice. Today I'd just escape from a date like that. Eventually... All my bf were met by the Internet! It works but it takes lots of time.

I know that animating is the very last thing Ross would prefer to do... This is why he usually looks for volunteers.

Because it's a business contract and every business, big or small wants to keep its tactics and especially prices/payments a secret to protectthemselves against competition, and also protect against jurnalists and too eager fans, even if they are so huge as Machinima. I'm kinda surprised you're not familiar with this basic rule in business.

Hey, do you remember MACHINIMA made an (awkward) interview with Ross back in the beginning of 2011! and now they have been treating him with almost no respect whatosever! :/ I won't write what kind of words come on my mind now, yet it seems that all the good people were fired and most of the workers that are left or newly hired are either TOTALLY ncompetent (or stupid) or have much too much work for just one person. Well, Ross decides what he does but still I have this inner feeling I want to kick ass of Machinima's CEO Damn, I would do a better job than some of the people he contacted last 3 months... I even got impression that corporations make people dumb and cause overall drop of IQ, or just make things look like this.... which is funny many times to observe..... and utterly frustrating most of times Blah!

I guess this thread could change into infinite Machinima complaints string.... I wish I could tell you all the insane Machinima "interactions" I've witnessed over the months, but I can't (for obvious reasons) I'm sure Ross's timeline will give you a good picture on that. If someone would treat me like that, I'd flip out after two weeks! Ross has an infinite patience gene

I kept quiet for a long time but it was just too much of a repeating subject. The forum is not really for asking the same questions over and over and over again. I explained my reasons, I apologized if enyone feels offended. I'm a fan like everyone here, but I have an insight on this case on EVERYDAY basis since before Christmas. It has driven me nuts. You are just talking about a show you love and I'm talking about my life. So yeah, I can go too far sometimes. I hope you can understand. Sorry if anyone got offended. I will shut up for a while and wait.

I'd join you and carry the explosives. I'm sick of how they are treating him but I trust his decisions and that he knows what he's doing. LOL, thanks! But it looks like we gonna have to show our patirnce with Machinima... Sometimes I think that company is run by a madman only partially knowing what he's doing and partially playing hide-and-seek with the staff and affiliates in any given time...

I LOVE when people here advise on things that THEY KNOW SO SUPERFICIALLY THAT IT MAKES THEM AN ABSOLUTE EXPERT Listen pal, you may believe me or not, but I'm Ross girlfriend and I'm sick of reading these advices on and on. I know how it has been with Machinima from the very close and probably I'm the first person who would bomb their facility and everything in 10km radius. So please, please people, stop giving advices and just trust Ross on what he's doing. He is very smart, talented man and he's been dealing with all that shit very wisely and bravely. He does what he thinks is the best in the situation. All he really needs is some support from his fans. If I offended anyone, i'm sorry. LAst three months has been playing on my nerves as well and I'm just sick and tired of it...
