Scientists are usually EXTREMELY careful with such stuff. (Unless they are guys from the "Prometheus" movie ) You don't know what it could do to you. They could've done some work on sound settings on their side or edit the recording... Nice interview but I couldn't understand 20% of monosyllables said with metallic accent. Still great to listen to an interview I haven't heard before. There were even some questions that haven't been asked 10 times before!

I've been playing a bit last couple of days and it's fun, except the parts that are frustrating It reminds me of first Prince of Persia on some levels.

See, it turns out that mlp is actually a method of alien mind control to subjugate the human race to make way for an easy takeover by an alien race of quadrupeds. Already the show's influence has struck deep into the military, entertainment industry, and government. The mlp movie is just the next step in mind control. Before long, mind controlling caps will be introduced to better control those who are taken in by the show, and also to overpower those resistant to the show's effect. Eventually humanity will spiral into a civil war as the aliens take over in their colossal quadruped mechanical walkers. If you bolt it down, it should be fine. Well, this is Ross we're talking about... he might beast mode that thing off the desk. My dad did that for a while before he decided to get a bigger desk to put his tower on, and it had case feet to lift it up a few inches, so that reduced the risk of spills. I'm currently set up in the same way, my tower sits on my desk and I never worry about what would happen if I knocked over my drink lol. His computer is a freakin monster... (At least to a "normal" ones I've seen.) Besides I think it would interfere with recording somehow it it was placed at a higher level. Gee, that's seems like nothing but a moderate water spill ruined the whole evening for us both really.... And delayed all the work ;( He gets stressed, I get stressed :/ This is why I personally hate Machinima so much. On a very personal level ]:-> Alright, I guess the bottle solution is the best for now and once new computer part arrives it will go on as usual. Wow, that's a lot of info. I still like idea of any cup holder or something that would just prevent this crisis in the future... All this computer work and drying and stuff... Time consuming plus local power grids seems to be not exactly tolerating (the circuit breaker was going off a couple of times while testing dried comp configuaration) what Ross's computer performs in some situations :/ I guess American ones are less sensitive or they just care about safety less Well... it looks like the simplest idea of a bottle will be implemented here. But maybe cup holder will be a good Christmas gift

Right now, the most important is, if someone has experience with a desk cup holder? Can you trust them? It's serious I mean,... I don't trust bottles that much. Bottle can unscrew or whateva.

That's the sense of all her research. She noticed that there is an overwhelming number of negative and sexist examples of female characters in gaming and decided to research that. She's been playing games since 8 so she has some good recognition as her father is a computer engeener, she had abundance of games to play for years. I agree with her. There are much too many examples of sexist and stereotypical treatment of women in gaming and it has started changing a bit only recently (like maybe last 5-2 years). I've played not that many games but most games don't offer much equality to women. So I find argument that she focuses only on negative things invalid, because that is the SENSE of her research. There is nothing biased. I know only few video games (comapring all the mainstrem ones) that treat women as equal partners or give them leading roles, including very new "Remember Me" that had problems to be released because the protagonist is a female.

I decided to watch ALL the episodes of Doctor Who. There about 800 of them or will be in a while. I estimate it will take me about 2 - 2,5 years since I need to make some breaks every couple of days. Black and white plus low quality sound from 60's is no fun after two hour watch. It is still fascinating. Some episodes are REALLy well done, even the reconstructed ones. However, I skip reconstructed episodes that are not SF. And I kinda miss the latest ones. Like I'm missing sth big, but I don't have BBC channel or not even a TV.... or an Xbox One hah!

Hello. I guess we talk here more about our intrests... I love writing and I write mostly SF in my mother tongue, also fanfics, of course on Half-Life and mosly in English and it's not so much fun because of language limitations. But I love it anyways.... Once I wanted Gordon Freeman to be my boyfriend (I got so miserably dissatisfied with my previous relationships), that it has become true. If you write, let me know. I like reading good stories (maybe except horrors, my imagination is too powerful) and will be happy to share experience and discuss on writing as a creative form Srsly, I love it! Also, I'm very proud we have Batman Himself on the Forum. I hope he writes in his free time.

I don't understand all this reluctance towards Anita. She's made a solid research and her arguments are supported by facts. Also, she makes each video focused on a certain topic. She doesn't harm anyone and I think research like that is needed if not necessary to uncover some truth. You may not agree with her, but there is at least a grain of truth in these video series. Maybe women see this better, because they experience "tropes roles" in real lives..... I'm too tired right now to read all the comments...
