What did Freeman say, when he ran into a concrete wall? Dam!
-
Having Freeman talking to the guy. Not sure exactly how, but it would be pretty funny. "Yeah, hello? Eddie, I need you to get some help for me. The military is hunting me in a secret goverment base. Plus I've covered in some kind of stuff by that snot creature... What? No, I'm NOT high."

Freeman's Mind special April Fool's day video ideas!
ArcticAvenger replied to LeechHax's topic in Freeman's Mind
Angy Birds in Source. -
There were like 15 - 20 people in the court room with Shephard and Anderson. Don't remember a sadden face for any of them after the attack. Or for the men and women in earths orbit, defending it against the reapers. Knowing they had no chance of surviving. Also, Shepard of all people (and his crew if you wanna look at it this way) KNEW what was comming to earth. They SAW what the reapers did to all the colonists they kidnaped.

Or he could just NOT do an episode. Just saying. -
Player Multiplayer. It takes a bit to get used to, but it's worth it. A heads up. DON'T PLAY WITH PUBS. Get some friends together. THAT'S how you have A LOT of fun.. I say this because I played last night for like 3 hours. It's pretty similar to Killing Floor. 4 players vs the AI (KF had 6). You basically fight 10 waves of enemys (same as KF). I clocked up a lot of hours in KF, so it was hard for me NOT to see the similaratys. Now comes the difference. While in KF you were fighting to SURVIVE, here you get objectives from HQ. Not in all waves, thing it's random. It's hard in the begining, since you don't have to many powers and weapons. So you pretty much have to rely on the person(s) next to you. Your character can level up by completing objectives and by the damage he does. For example, you get up close to an enemy and fire a round from your shotgun. The other guy might not be dead, he just has like 10 hp left. Then a friend comes in and used the Vanguard charge and he get's the kill. Since the enemy had ~240, you get 230 XP points, and he gets 10. The AI uses very effectively SMOKE and FRAG grenades. You can make cash while ... doing stuff. I think it's about getting good times. Not really sure. With it, you buy supply crates (TF2 LOL). They contain random items that can help you: medigel, specialized ammunition, rockets, weapon addons and a few other things. Note that MOST of these are consumables. So if you use that ammo that freezes in a match (or a mission if you wil), it wont be available after you finish. Dead or Alive.

I'm the dude on the right.

I'm currently at Chapter "5. Playing ball". I have to say, your story's kept me pinned to the monitor. While reading, I kept picturing the whole thing. Guess playing Half Life and Airsoft help. Heh. Because when Gordon and Fisher were right next to those 2 soldiers, and Fisher made the hand signals, I saw myself in the EXACT same situation. Was with a collegue in a good spot in a trench, next to some tall grass, and we found ourselfs sorunded by 4 other players (they didn't knew we were there). He was trying to give me hand signals... but I didn't study them. Not to mention that my rifle was on SAFE. So when I was told to shoot 2 of them, who had their backs towards me, the rifle refused to fire. Water was coming down my face. Is my battery empy? Did the rifle jam? Am I out of ammo? Then I saw the selector. Heh. Sorry about the rant. Anyway, my hat's off to you, good Sir. I'll see about getting you some reviews after I finish reading. That's a promise.

Would you be the SAME JSF16 that wrote that HL fan story with Fisher? I wanna see Udina's face, when I go back to the Citadel and tell him "I told you so!".
-
A torrent for every 20 episodes would work nice.
-
For a crazy dude, I'd actually hang out with him at a bar. Or a strip club. Or BOTH!
-
So... what you're telling me, is that you don't want other episodes? I am dissapoint.
-
Why are you here posting? Why aren't you at Black Mesa filming?

o i c what u did there -
During, or after the 7 hour war?
-
OFC they don't care too much. Valve's a corporation, and corporations make money.
-
That's EXACTLY what I said. I kept emailing Valve, telling them the suit was OverPowered. But did they listen to me? No. It was like talking to a concrete wall. ANd I also think Gabe gave me the finger. fssssss
-
Kid. Really. Stop OVERTHINKING this. Because you have to look at it this way. Most of the ppl in HL1 look THE SAME. THE SAME. You know how he will explain it? Just like VALVE did with doctor Magnuson, in Episode 2. I mean... everybody but YOU, knew who the guy was. And the character himself, just reminded you of how you F**** up his dinner with the microwave. It was a nice flashback, but that was all.

I got a better solution. How about the admins delete Rainbow Dahs's post, so the page would look normal? -
Not true. I bought 5 guns from Poland, and they got here in 7 days.
