  1. It's here!
  2. Ironically, that's what Dr. Breen found out.
  3. I'd also recommend Kane's Mind, made by Chunkboi in the Quake 4 game.
  4. This actually seems like a very good idea. Wait a second. Freeman enters Xen through a portal, doesn't he? Before going to Xen, Ross could totally have him be teleported to different games in the format you described. Thus, he would even preserve canon (Well, kind of.) He would be limited to one part of the game only, though. Which means a seperate series would probably better. In any case, I like your idea. THIS! That would be Crysis.
  5. Damnit. I still have the sounds from the menus in my head...
  6. T SHIRT WITH "Are the strippers invading us?"
  7. Should we look at the vest problem from the perspective of Opposing Force? I mean, in the training mission you did just stand there while some dude shot you with a SPAS 12, then the drill sargent would explain that your vest absorbs damage, at the cost of energy... I've known soldiers from Afgan who would just drop the steel plates, and take an extra bottle of water or mag. But that's another story.
  8. It... depends. From the pictures I've seen on the internet, the soldiers body armor from half life only protects the chest area. That leaves the neck (jugular?), face and head unprotected. And since gas masks aren't really ment to stop bullets, that leaves the helmet. Which not many seamed to have. We could also go by the idea that some of the soldiers he shot aren't dead, but either injured or just unconscious due to the fact that they took 6 - 10 rounds to the vest. And now that I think about it, that's actually a pretty grim thought.
  9. A trailer? With Ross Scott? 10/10
  10. What this nice gentleman said.
  11. +1 Also, wanned to point out that Ross has some really awesome fans: Source:
  12. There was a nuke in the truck? I did not know that.
  13. Think this is relevant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0V4R83LSTY
  14. That COOP was fun to watch.
  15. BTW. Am I the only one who was reminded of Mordin's song in Mass Effect 2?
  16. Congrats on the new episode Ross!
  17. Think I'll print this and nail it to my door. Freeman was never gone. He was just kicking ass in a different dimension.
  18. Dear God... That was awesome. Those... SO MANY AWESOME LINES!
  19. That was unexpected from Valve.
  20. I guess it's better then standing on the sidelines and commenting.
  21. For a period of time, at least.
  22. It depends on your point of view. If by exits you mean "outside the facility", then Freeman did reach the Surface a few times. Unfortunetly... since the base is located in the middle of a desert, were heavily armed gunships and soldiers patrol... I'd count these as "being inaccessible." But sure, exits did exist. Something els that didn't sell very well was telling people you'll give them 50$ for the internal organs they have. Because, you know, they don't need them anyway.
  23. You'd think Black Mesa would have invested more into private security. Not just the guards with a 9 mm pistol, but rather more better equipt and armed personnel. As in people who carry high calliber weapons. I look at it this way, because they WERE bringing aliens from another dimension. They even had holding pens, like zoo's... Eli Vance was also to blame for the incident. When the G-Man gave him the sample, he HAD the option of telling him were to shove it, to call of the experiment, or just run more tests. Yet, he CHOSE to trust him. The results of which we saw in HL2 & Episodes. On the other hand, Wallace Breen DID make a peace treaty with the Combine. For better or for worse, he did save what was left of the Human race. Otherwise the combine would have turned this planet into a parking lot, were WE would be the Asphalt. But should we judge these 2 men? Or should we judge Cave Johnson? Who knew very well what he was doing. By that I mean, that at a certain point in his life, he made the decision that the tests subjects were expandable.
