The only game on the poll I would even buy is Skyrim. You're leaving out a lot of great games, and are also showing some platform bias (including two halo games but not uncharted 3 for example), which makes it pretty useless as a poll. The only opinion you'll get are those that match your own.

What is your favourite thing to do (besides gaming)?
Eedo Baba replied to Magamis's topic in Free-For-All
Game environment art. I also do characters, but characters are a lot less enjoyable. -
Look at how impractical computers are. They take up entire rooms and run using vacuum tubes.

The only "massively multiplayer" game I'm looking forward to would be Journey. It's not an RPG though, and you never know who it is you're playing with. You can just come across another player and tag along with them if you want, through the game's world.

Nature: Huge dead tree, growing out of a 90 degree intersection of 12 f walls, a floor, and stone awnings. Top of tree has fallen off, and rotted away. Thick vines, growing out of basic wall, floor and awning. Thick vines to be placed on the floor, intertwining with tiles. Thick vines growing across the intersection of wall, floor, awning, and decorated column. Thick vines growing in a spiral pattern around an average column, spreading out on the floor. Dead vines hanging off an awning, off a ceiling. Live trees, for background. grass tufts, to come out of floors

Uh, I guess Uncharted 2 on Crushing was pretty hard. I managed to beat that after a while. I tend to avoid playing things that feel too hard for me. I kept being amazed when I'd finally make it through later sections of U2. There was a time that after like 20 tries at a hard combat area, I figured out a way to time movements perfectly to sneak past, something it didn't even seem like they planned for, cause the cutscene triggered with dead soldiers lying behind me.

FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- moments
Eedo Baba replied to Average Internet Guy's topic in Gaming in general
When I realized my hard drive had crashed, with no backup. I didn't exactly go FFFFUUUU. I screamed then started crying. -
-- And I've killed some security guards with a crowbar -- You realize they can help you, right? -- I'd rather have their gun.

In all seriousness, this is a dire situation.
Eedo Baba replied to MakoVlazkov's topic in Freeman's Mind
I'd say that there's no better place for a slight character development than waking up in the trash compactor. He very narrowly escapes certain death, and it might make him better understand the grave nature of his situation. This wouldn't sacrifice comedy of course, but he would be acknowledging his responsibility, even if he was whining about it along the way. -
http://cl.ly/1L0c3Z3K2c062t1g0l42 ^The members of my team probably wouldn't even like me posting this here. If you're wondering what it is, it's a WIP camera tracking. It's taking in a prerendered video, and, using an algorithm and initial camera settings, matching the exact animation of the camera in the scene.

Ico. I got it around the time it was released. I was about maybe 9 or 10 at the time. I had honestly no idea what it was. At the time, I had saved up enough money to get myself a PS2, and my mom gave me 50 bucks to get games. I just kind of went crazy in the game store trying to choose, as you'll probably remember, back in the days of childhood, games are a very valuable commodity. I ended up getting Ico and some other crappy game. Ico ended up striking an emotional chord, something I had never experienced in a video game. To this day, it's one of my favorite games of all time.

Hm, people today probably don't even make the distinction between an LP and an EP. I guess they're kind of obsolete terms.

I've only ever played Oblivion, so I didn't vote, but I did love Oblivion. It had that perfect setup that kept you playing a LONG time, which is lots of unique quests. There were like what, a hundred quest lines? Anyway, from what I know, Morrowind is way bigger than Oblivion (scale wise), so I can see how exploring such a vast area would give people fond memories.

My sister's family came over and I played Portal 2 co-op with an 8 year old. Not easy.

I think the fact that you consider this a problem might say something about you.
