I reached 500 kills already with my Strange Backburner. Right now it's "Wicked Nasty"

There are also the sections in the uncharted games where you're firing rockets from a turret on the back of a moving car. Those are pretty awesome.

Just found videos of this Chinese ripoff of TF2 called "Final Combat". It's laughably identical, but the Meet The trailers they've made are actually of ridiculously high production value. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXX38RwBgfw

Made a back alley deal for a Strange Backburner. Up to Mildly Menacing. Hoping next I can get a strange demoman weapon.

Is Metal Gear Solid for PC any good?
Eedo Baba replied to \\Vincent Vega's topic in Gaming in general
MGS3 was exclusive to PS2 and MGS4 was exclusive to PS3. Anyway, the only way to release 4 for PC would be to put it on like 6 dvds, and the installed data would hog like 40 gb of your hard drive. OP: MGS2 and MGS3 are being released in HD for ps3 and 360 sometime later this year, if you finish MGS1. -
I've had to break it open and clean the laser multiple times, but my 2001 model PS2 is still going strong. Definitely one of my favorite consoles. I often go back for classics like Ico or the Ratchet and Clank games. They really need to release an HD package with all 3 original Ratchets. They're too good not to. Right now I'm rendering footage for my short film.

Never played it on PC. Here's guessing you could get a PS1 copy and play on an emulator just fine. As for the quality of the PS1 original, I can vouch for it being one of the greatest games (if not THE greatest) on that platform. -
I was just on the randomizer server posted above. It can be a lot of fun, but it can also get really annoying when you get stuck with awful combinations. Also, sometimes guns glitch out or cover the screen. Like playing with righteous bison on Spy, the gun itself actually covered the center of the screen. And playing with Huntsman on any class other than sniper is annoying, cause you can't see how you're controlling the bow.

Sucky situation all around, but realize the reason they kick you is because you're making the game run slower for everyone on the server. All I could really suggest is to start or join a server in your area. One thing I generally dislike about TF2 though is respawn time. If you're just starting out with a class that you suck at, you might be seeing more of a respawn screen than the game. If I can, I usually go for a server with instant spawning. Makes for a much faster, edgier game.

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools

Children don't have faiths. Their parents do. -
English isn't your first language I'm guessing. You mean trade items for games.

The Scott Pilgrim game ost was good, but doesn't really compare to Anamanaguchi's other albums. Wait... No one has mentioned Katamari Damacy... One of the most fun and varied soundtracks ever. Oh, and JET SET RADIOOOOOOO! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xevC7nT71o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFu7LFlaCCA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBeR7Uceme8

I love using the minisentry on fast moving games like Payload or King of the Hill. Build em on the point and run away. Get a few kills before it gets destroyed, build another.

I've played Dead Space 2 maybe 5 times now, and there's one glitch I always trigger when I get to it, because it's funny looking. Basically, in an early area in the Unitology living quarters, if you walk off of an edge with about a 3 foot drop, Isaac will play the falling animation for like 5 seconds, hovering above the ground. I found it in my first playthrough and it still hasn't been patched as of my last one, maybe a week ago.

TF2 Suggestion: Accursed Farms Server
Eedo Baba replied to Epsilon's topic in Valve Games / Valve Stuff
As I understand it, players with high ping have slower internet connections in general, and will make everyone's game run slower and choppier. A game with 9 people with low ping and one person with high ping will be brought down just the same, because of the server compensating for the long response time with the high ping player. I haven't noticed any relation to the location of the server. I get a ping of ~40 on pretty much every server I've ever been on. -
Yeah, what's wrong with a new game using Source? It's not cutting edge, but for Portal 2, it certainly did well.

The classic disney hand drawn animation. It's long gone now, but when it was alive, it was amazing. Anime is just so badly animated. It's like the people making it are oblivious to basic animation techniques, like the moving hold, or overlapping action. I've studied the classic animators, the original Disney geniuses. Milt Kahl, Preston Blair. They understood how to using weight and motion perfectly, and brought the animation to a level of brilliance that hasn't been equaled. Watching the classic Disney features as a kid, like me you probably didn't realize the artistry in the animation. But after studying animation techniques, when I watch a scene from Fantasia or The Jungle Book, I'm in awe. These guys were absolute masters, gaining their brilliance over decades of experience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QphWiC-YRbo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T0I5UepXMA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kiDDw6Owz0&

God of War 3 on Chaos difficulty. I was working on the first area for 5 hours. My throat is sore from screaming at the TV.

Would you say that film is an artform? Art is relative, but when I see a game that I would call art, I'm not just looking at the visuals or the music, or anything traditionally called art within the game. I'm looking at the way the game uses it's interactivity to move the player emotionally. The very definition of art is to purposefully arrange something in a nature as to have an impact on the viewer. I'd say many games achieve this wonderfully. Of course, not all games are art. Games are a changing industry. Calling Super Meat Boy or Duke Nukem art would be like calling the early motion pictures of people sneezing art.

Got to thinking about the difference between the types of gamers. Some see gaming as a competitive sport. Some see it as a way to relax. I personally, see it mostly as a budding artform like film was in the early 20th century. What do you think?

Shouldn't Engi be the plural and Engus the singular? "Engus Moronus puts a sentry in home base, during an offensive mission." "Engus Intelligus cuts off the enemy with a mini-sentry, during an offensive mission."

I already posted one of my favorites, but here's another. The gate and bridge from ICO. -
Just beat Dead Space 2 on Zealot. That last part is brutal. I resorted to simply running past enemies with red health, and somehow I made it through. Nolan North is a talented voice actor. He gets typecasted a lot for roles as the proverbial "MALE GAME CHARACTER" but he's great when he's given room to invent. You know the spheres in Portal 2? (SPAAACE, rick, and fact core) that was him.
