I've always thought this kind of nostalgia was silly. 8 bit graphics and sound were born out of hardware limitations. Why is it people have it in their head that there's something romantic and cool about blocky pixel sprites? I think it's simply the generation's normal nostalgia for youth, associated with the video games they played as a kid. People wish to return to the time when they were young, and in that time, they happened to be playing 8 bit games. It's silly. Games aren't about the graphics. They're about the ideas expressed.

I think the way it already is is balanced. Good spies use things like cloak and dagger to the point where the cloak bar doesn't even matter.

It does look like it's trying to be Call of Duty. Remember the first 2 battlefield games? They had these kind of endearing characters telling jokes and sometimes making fun of CoD. The new B3 trailers look way more "serious", with heavily armored soldiers walking through desert streets saying "Shit man, I hope I see my family again..." or "We got a tango in Delta sector due south to the LZ"

You didn't win, you and someone else won vs me alone on a CTF map. There is no physical way to win when you're the only one on the team. Ok, so I've added a couple mods to the server now. !rtv and !nextmap now work. The spawn ammo/health cabinets now overheal you to 200% health. Spies now gain cloak time from health packs and friendly/enemy healing. People carrying the intel in CTF maps now glow through walls, making them easy to track. If you get First Blood, you now are able to get a random enhancement. (list of enhancements and duration below) The spy perk should be removed. I'm not a fan of mods that unbalance classes. Oh, and the 200% health overheal would obviously just make heavies even more overpowered, while giving other classes less of a boost. I never really understood the Force A Nature. If as scout, your goal is getting really close shots, why would you want your gun to push enemies away??? At the moment, I'm saving refined metal up to craft a "Familiar Fez" for spy. The set bonus makes the decloak noise quieter.
