I suppose they have updated the engine a lot so I wouldn't count on it.

So does your mother. No need to bring our mothers into this. It was a joke. =P

Are you a vampire? It would seem so...

Me and my friends all love playing it actually.

I usually just ignore them but yeah, it feels like they are totally oversaturating YouTube sometimes. I mostly subbed just so I could know when a new Freeman's Mind episode was out, I don't usually care for all the other crap.

That's the whole reason I invested in a brand new powerhouse computer...

Let's hope for a 101st episode

So... this guy is pretty famous. Been stalk... following him since 2006 when he started his site so I'm definitely what you may consider a long-time fan of the guy, and also of his other non-AVGN projects. Speaking of which, lookie what I got in the mail today (click to enlarge):

Wait, Fall? I thought it was coming out in April! Or are you in some screwey corner of the globe that gets games well after everyone else, like Australia or something? If so, it's gunna suck having to wait several months for Yahtzee's take on the game... Oh well... Now to just get a computer that can run the bloody game... At the moment, it can just barely play Half Life 2, and even then the shading is messed up to heck... I dunno. Some say April, some say it's the fall. I really don't know who to trust. ;P I built a brand new computer just before Christmas, so I'm definitely ready for it.

Easter island is awesome!

I noticed the same problem when I burned an ISO of Quake 2 and the music stopped and started at the wrong moments, making the soundtrack a bit glitchy. I don't really have much experience with ripping mixed mode ISO's so I don't really know any specialized apps for it. I'd say Alcohol 120% and DaemonTools are excellent apps for imaging CD's though.

I don't really read webcomics to be honest, but I might check out those.

I think it's obvious why I voted for phpBB... it's definitely the most stable forum software I know.

I dare to say not as cold as Norway.

Sample mini-reviews of some obscure games
Alyxx Thorne replied to Ross Scott's topic in Obscure PC Games:
BlackThorne Not sure if it qualifies as obscure since Blizzard made it, but it's just that barely anyone I know knows about it or have heard about it. Basically a badass version of Prince of Persia with orcs in it. And you have a shotgun. Eradicator A decent FPS where you run around fighting alien robots on an alien planet in some kind of alien mining facility. Lots of alien stuff, that's for sure. And it has a woman who's a cat. Literally. -
I think we share more or less the same taste in games.

I'm a gamer from Norway who makes music and enjoys old sci-fi movies. I'm a huge fan of Ross Scott and his work on Civil Protection and of course, Freeman's Mind.

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest on NES isn't a terrible game but it certainly is a strange one. Still, the music is quite memorable. Also, "Silver Surfer" on NES has a lot of great powerful tunes, but the game is horrible. Coincidentally, the 3DO version of Doom is considered the hands down worst and most butchered port of the game, but the soundtrack is one of the best renditions I've heard.
