I think if they did a Half Life movie it shouldn't be about Freeman, I think it should take the perspective of the rebels or even about the 7 hour war. My point exactly.

I'm playing Fallout 3 at the moment. And a bit of Doom 3.

I am more interested in seeing a movie based on the Half Life universe and setting than Half Life itself.

Excellent list. I'm also a huge fan of GoldenEye, spent hours playing 4-player DM's with my friends back in the day. And the Fallout franchise deserves to be on that list.

I'd rather read a walkthru than watching a "Let's Play" since most LP's these days are just people fucking around, being horrible at playing the game, and trying to make funny comments while doing so.

He didn't want to rip the audio. He wanted to make an image of the game without corrupting the audio in some way. I think you misunderstood his post slightly. But regarding ripping, EAC is the best free app out there for the purpose.

I prefer the original hell march 1 actually. The others feel like inferior remixes to me.

I agree with Kirkreng. You're not really doing anything that stands out, so to be brutally honest, I doubt people are really going to care about your videos. Besides, it's a bit of a trend right now, and you're more jumping a bandwagon than anything else.

In general I think that making movies based on games is unoriginal and a waste of resources. You can never translate a game experience to a movie and you will always end up taking artistic licenses that is SURE to piss off the fans of the game.
