  1. Excellent idea, and as already said, it should encourage good behaviour and post quality.
  2. No matter which forum I'm in I by default use the root sections to navigate.
  3. Again, another score for HL2. I'm not surprised though.
  4. I don't mind dialogue the first time playing thru, I often let myself immerse in it. But I tend to skip it on future playthrus.
  5. I would love to work on a Machinima, but I don't know what kind of talents I'd have. I'm happy being a groupie for Machinima celebrities.
  6. Eagles and Crows. Seems you like music with birds' names.
  7. Isn't that a long time to not play anything considering it's not coming out until next month?
  8. You'd be bored to death with a game like The Longest Journey then. It has REALLY lengthy monologues.
  9. For me there's just no point in a challenge if you're going to cheat.
  10. Half-Life 1 had a giant tentacle monster. And Freeman's Mind would be nothing without it.
  11. Yeah, it's definitely setting the mood.
  12. I don't think a few oil problems are going to wipe us out. We're a resiliant species.
  13. Australian game nazis ftw...
  14. All good arguments. So far HL2 seems to be the most preferred of the two.
  15. I know about it, but I don't really know it. All I know about is what I have heard from people boasting about it everywhere.
  16. Super Metroid and Star Fox are both games that have received orchestrated versions. Star Fox main theme, arranged version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbFrMvylJ74 Great arranged version of SUper Metroid theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj8JWCTEGpE
  17. Yes, that sounds a bit like too much work for backing up your games, especially if you have an extensive library of them.
  18. I've completed all of Super Mario World's 96 exits and I never used any walkthrough.
  19. X-Zone is a SNES game that uses the Super Scope. But instead of requiring you to use the attachable scope, you use an on-screen cursor. It's actually a very simple but enjoyable lightgun shooter with a very good soundtrack to boot. I grew up with it and I recently actually completed it on Hard on the console. I'm proud of my achievement. I guess the reason for its obscurity is that, well, the Super Scope never really hit on (no wonder, it drained batteries like heck and was a bit clunky designed) and therefore not many people have played it. 20. Damnit, all my preparations in vain.
  21. Now it is getting the fame it deserves but think about it,it has been almost a decade since the first game, even with the name Tetsuya Nomura on the credits it took awhile to get respect;compare it with all the franchises who were born on the same time and still go on until today with success, and you also say people YOU know heard about it,just by looking on your forum image i can tell you are into anime and other japanese stuff, who,in some cases, have characters with unreal look and a pure heart, description that matches kingdom hearts characters. By the way i also love animes and stuff, im just saying that most people understimate games who arent all about gore and war .(i like this sort of game too XD) Indeed I am fascinated by anime and manga, but I wouldn't credit that to Kingdom Hearts...
  22. A pretty decent argument. I went with HL1, because I like it more. =P
  23. Aside from the gameplay, Metroid Other M was a bit of a letdown.
  24. I'm impressed by the fact your actions and choices in the first game can carry over into the second.
  25. He seems like a cool guy. And yes, the swine flu panic really took off...
