  1. Dreamfall was a horrible sequel in my opinion, but yes, it had excellent music. The songs by Magnet are really beautiful. Oh yeah, but this song wasn't on the Ost's album Dx It brings some good memmories. It was released as its own EP. If you want I can rip it for you.
  2. Then I can't wait to show you my Balls of Steel edition when I get it. Ha ha, we will see then anyway Im new here, Hello! :3 Hi there.
  3. I think I saw one with negative rep so yes, it's possible.

  10. Let's resurrect it as the ROBOFORUM! The FUTURE of board enforcement! FORUM ROLL CALL Back on topic, I do think the original Project Gotham Racing has become very obscure. Methinks it's because it was released in 2001 for the Xbox, a hallmark age for obscure titles. In fact, I think the whole PGR series has fallen by the wayside. Even with the release of PGR4 a few years ago for the 360, nobody seems to be talking about it and I don't know if anyone's playing online. I agree. Not many people I know have actually played those games. I see them on GameStop's used shelf all the time.
  11. Sort of like the Wipeout series on PS1. The first game had almost exclusively composed music, but with each sequel they utilized more and more licensed tracks. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing since hearing Prodigy's Firestarter while playing Wipeout is awesome, but yeah. It did sort of bury the original soundtrack a bit.
  12. I endorse buying stuff legally when you can afford it, especially if you like it.
  13. Well... since Half-Life 3 is the third game... Technically speaking, isn't it the fourth game in the Half-Life franchise? I consider the two episodes to be more expansions to Half-Life 2 than actual games by themselves. Kinda like mission packs, you know?
  14. Well, you would be getting the game WADs legally. The only problem for me is that the Steam versions utilize DOSBox instead of better alternatives such as ZDoom or Doomsday. But as I said, it's a legal way of getting the WADs.
  15. I think the Wii is their most versatile console yet. With the Virtual Console service you can even play the old gaming style you're praising. Not even close to versatile. Xbox has that market cornered with being able to install emulators, essentially allowing it to run every console game out there. Besides, the original Xbox had better everything than the Wii. Better processor, better video card, better RAM, better disc drive... For me the games matter more than the actual hardware specs. I bought a Wii so I could play the new Mario games, the Metroid trilogy and Other M, and use it to play some older Nintendo games on my TV as well. I don't really care if the XBox is more powerful. It doesn't really have any games that interests me. I use my PC for gaming most of the time anyway. In terms of shere epicness, I don't think any of the new consoles can compete with the Super Nintendo in how classic it has become.
  16. Yup. Doom 3 was my favorite... Quake 2 beat the others in the Doom series IMO. (Sorry, but Doom 3 was the first time the series was actually kinda scary) I disagree with you. When I was a kid and saw those flickering lights in Doom 1 for the first time, I had to change my underwear a lot...

  18. You know it! Just look at how many games have used french fries as enemies now. 20? 30? 60? Of course! It was SO ahead of its time!
  19. I love Doom. I practically grew up on it. Regarding Doom 3, surprisingly it was actually awesome for me and I often find myself playing it more than I play the originals. I love it, but in a different way than the classics, it feels more reliant on atmosphere and less enemies. Me and my friends still have Doom deathmatches now and then, though we use ZDoom instead of the original Windows 95 or DOS Doom of course. Agree with LS that Doom 3 was better than the expansion. It felt short and unsatisfying in a way, though I loved the new toys.
  20. Well... since Half-Life 3 is the third game...
  21. If you love both, just don't vote. This poll is not for people who love both but prefers one over the other.
  22. I'd rather play Wolfenstein 3D. At least that looks more appealing while being playable on virtually every computer on the planet after 1992.
  23. Only? So the idea of a female having a crush on a giant tentacle monster is NOT disturbing? lol And THANK YOU for siding with me on HL1. CLASSIC!
  24. Just because others are jumping a wagon doesn't mean you have to.
