As Bjossi states in his post, anti-piracy measures such as DRM only leads to increased piracy. It does more damage than it prevents it.

I agree. Those expansion packs were almost like games in of themselves.

It's definitely an issue that has moral and ethical connotations, since the developer obviously has put a lot of time and money into the project and deserves compensation.

Games for Windows Live? *throws up* Both Fallout 3 and Bulletstorm and even TRON Evolution use it. I don't see why since they don't really need it.

I think Games for Windows Live is definitely part of the DLC craze. When I bought the limited edition of Bulletstorm, I got a code to use for free experience points in multiplayer.

I have started buying more games lately with all the sales on Steam and with the used games at GameStop. So I definitely don't think there's much excuses to resort to piracy anymore.
