Regarding the Machinima.com complaints
Alyxx Thorne replied to Alyxx Thorne's topic in Freeman's Mind
I said no offense, I did not mean it as an insult. What I meant is that some of what you wrote simply wasn't true. I merely changed the title of the topic. Besides, if I said something I did not mean and erased it, I do not understand why you would hold it against me. I edit my posts because I change my mind and realize what I wrote in the first place was maybe not a good idea to write. I don't see how it makes me a bad person to realize my mistakes and I don't understand why I should apologize for it. Besides, I never deleted this topic and even if I did, there is no way I could undelete it. You are merely assuming things that are not true. I am sorry if my actions have offended you and you feel they are unjust, that's not what I intended. I don't intend to make myself look better, just not offend anyone, but it seems I manage to anyway. But now that this situation has died down a bit thanks to Machinima actually getting more efficient, I think we should put this behind us. -
I think it just makes it more accessible to adults that way who otherwise might have felt it was too much of a kids' game. Because kids don't get the jokes, but the adults do.

It's total crap, if you get the pun.

Yes, and Duke Nukem Total Meltdown on PS1. DN64 was what you might call the censored edition though. I find it funny it's censored on the same system that Conker's Bad Fur Day was on. That's irony for you. XD What was originally an adult game became kiddy-friendly and what was originally a kiddy game became adult.

The smell IMO is not that bad, kind of minty actually. Ah, well that depends on the flavor. He showed us some very gruff kind of snus, the not-so-minty kind.
-
I suggest playing the original PC version. It's always going to be the best.
-
Yeah, you'll never want to eat a banana again.

In Norway we have something called "snus" which is basically tobacco you put under your upper lip and suck on and it's immensely popular among teenagers. Our teacher didn't like this because kids were spitting snus all over the school and making a mess, so in order to get us to NOT start using snus, he let us smell it. It smelled so awful that I doubt anyone in our class started using it.

That's how my brother watches YouTube.

Play some Duke Nukem 3D then. It's still better than Duke Nukem Forever, I must admit.

Correct. Threads have been merged.

Yeah, I'm pleased by that, and I think everyone else are. -
Great episode, and a nice comment on the confusing architecture of Black Mesa, lol.

Uninspired? Trainwreck? We're talking about the same game now? Fair enough that you don't like the game but I doubt you could call it uninspired when it more or less uses elements from various sources, some more obvious than others. And the game is not a trainwreck when you can play it just fine and enjoy it, like I do. I get that you dislike it, and you're starting to really sound like a broken record now, even if I respect your opinion.

It seems to me that while reviewers think this game is very mediocre and seem to be a bit harsh on it, the fans love it.
-
This is VERY obscure in that case, I've never heard of it.
-
That's very black, Eedobaba. Here's mine atm.

That game you hate that everyone else loves.

Mario 64 I'll admit is a great game but the controls don't agree with me. -
I love it too. So much fun to use. And there's an achievement for using it too.
-
Then why are you the Accursed Queen? Focus on the "prefer appearing as a girl" part of it.
-
That's a nice one, Fig.

As a guy with very female-like personality (hence why I prefer appearing as a girl), I find that I want men to not always necessarily be nice to me, but make it very clear that they are interested in me and want to be dedicated to me. I don't care if someone are helpful all the time, that's what I want from a friend. But from someone special I want something special. It's not about looks or anything like that, but just being sure. I think I like men who are dominating and a bit dark and possessive, because at least you know they want you. Other than that, I think it's important that even though you are helpful and kind, you don't let yourself being taken advantage of. Be strong and assertive.
