I agree. While EA ARE scam artists by all means, I doubt this is an actual practice and more just guess work on your part for finding cut content.

There's this one game I played as a kid with platforms and I remember an enemy that looked like a kitten. Might have been an Apogee platformer and I'm just remembering it wrong. But to this day I haven't found any game that resembles it.

Either you're right or the content is simply content that was cut from the game, which is common.

I've never really cared about 3D because I have reduced eyesight so 3D typically gives me a headache when I try to watch it since I am straining my eyes more. I am very skeptical about VR technology because of this but if they can make it so I can view 3D without feeling like my eyes are being pulled out of their sockets, I'm all for it.

Generations is actually on Steam if you wanna play it on PC... Only reason I haven't listed Sonic '06 or Sonic Boom: Rise of the Lyric is because I haven't played them but what I've seen of them just baffles me how Sega can release something like that... Sonic Unleashed was atrocious but it had some decent qualities. The main reason I disliked it was the annoying voice acting and the fact the gameplay didn't feel like a Sonic game at all (it suddenly turned into a brawler...)

Your video points out the exact problem with major publishers these days. They're more focused on money than on the fact the games they release are meant to be played. It's sickening and pretty fucking sad when your favourite game is rendered entirely unplayable just because the publishers deems the game unworthy of life. It's a pretty fitting analogy too. The games become pretty much dead, buried under the fact the server is no longer running so all the potential is just wasted. In my opinion publishers should consider adding dedicated server tools to games they no longer want to support so people can run their own servers. This is pretty much what has kept a lot of oldschool shooters alive. Heck a lot of modern indie games profit heavily on this.

We're not in short supply of guys... that's for sure.
