I think people should be judged by who they are, not their gender. I don't see myself as a feminist personally, I think no matter what gender you are you should be proud of who you are.

It's usually fine since concerts are "short term exposure" as they call it and the hearing damage is only temporary. My hearing is pretty much back to normal now. As for who I saw, I went to see Die Krupps. They're pretty much one of the original "Neue Deutsche Harze" bands, inspiring newer bands from Ministry to Rammstein. They started out very electronic but started mixing in some Metallica influences in the early 90's which is how they got really big. I think the fact I was up close to the stage eyeing the sexy sweaty guitarist (who also was INSANELY cute) while Jürgen Engler hit metal tubes into my ears was the reason I suffered more than most people there. Still, amazing gig. Had fun.

I went to a rock concert recently and stood so close to the stage my hearing was shot for an entire day (all I could hear was mostly ringing). Getting better now but... man, scary experience to suddenly not being able to hear properly for an entire day...

More specifically how it loads levels. It seems to load levels as separate executables so the Steam overlay doesn't work and something intercepts the game every time it loads a level so it freezes for several minutes, sometimes freezing entirely. It just doesn't run stable enough to be fun for me. I've gotten it to work, yes, but it never worked WELL. I have tried BOTH the Desktop Composition and Set Affinity trick but none of those have yielded successfull results for me. Mostly cause, man, the affinity thing just is HELL to do when you try to alt tab out of a black screen... and it didn't seem to make ANY difference for me. ALl of the other solutions in that guide just seem like way too much of a chore for a game that is mediocre at best. I've concluded it's just not worth it.

The reason he's doing his work offline is to keep that from happening cause THAT could take a long time...
