I think small limits to ownership are needed, except the current ones are for the wrong reasons. An assault weapon is currently defined by its cosmetic features, and that is completely stupid. People should have no reason to own high explosives/destructive devices though, simply due to the dangers in storing and transporting them. I have no problem with automatic rifles though. There have been examples of automatic rifles saving peoples lives from intruders(see http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/7087082.html). A light machine gun, on the other hand, should only be used as a collector's item, anybody claiming to own one for self defense is bullshitting someone. Criminals are always (ALWAYS) going to find a way to get a hold of weapons illicitly, but background checks/psychological evaluations are a good idea to prevent the wrong people for acquiring these weapons.

I believe schools have the right idea, by teaching it as a theory and not fact. Almost every online resource of teaching materials refers to things supporting evolution as evidence and not proof or fact. For example: one of the largest printers of educational textbooks in the world (Glencoe/McGraw-Hill) never once refer to evolution as fact, but instead refer to it as a concept or theory. Here's some samples of their study guides: http://www.glencoe.com/sec/science/biology/bio2000/pdfs/bdol15-1.pdf http://www.glencoe.com/sec/science/webquest/content/dinobirds.shtml#introduction http://www.glencoe.com/sec/science/webquest/content/hominidfossils.shtml They even encourage students to debate and decide for themselves their own ideas and if the evidence presented supports their ideas. It never questions the faith of students

It works like this: an image is posted, one person changes or adds something to it, then someone else takes that picture that the previous person edited and adds something to it as well. To start, I'll add a picture of Vin Diesel.
