  1. Ditto. Ditto Seconded. Though I might not be able to get on for a while... Third'ed? I'm rarely on though, and if I am it's probably just some COD out of boredom.
  2. Mine is supposed to be pronounced "Newman" as in reference to the character from Seinfeld. I had a friend who used to watch it all the time, and he ended up naming my Halo 2 profile on his console "Newman", except he spelled it "Nueemann". Whether he was drunk, high, bored, or all three, I'm not sure. Of course, the name stuck with me.
  3. Twilight Guardians - This Blood
  4. Console gamer, but only because of budget and convenience. If I had the money, I would play PC games more.
  5. Ok, so we've established the plant isn't going to blow up. So unless you live in a country that leads the world in Uranium mining, stop worrying you'll wake up with an extra arm tomorrow. I, however, don't have such comfort.
  6. I have been watching news most of the day, and they state (Not sure if we can believe it.) that Radiation levels are going down, and things appear to be mostly under control.
  7. Quoted from here. The conditions at Chernobyl deteriorated very rapidly and the inexperienced operators lost control of the plant because of their poor judgement, this lead to a steam explosion that blew the roof off of the reactor building, directly exposing the core and all of it's radiation into the atmosphere. In this case, that simply didn't happen. Any risks now come from handling the situation stupidly, which Japan isn't likely to do.
  8. Nuclear Power: Safe. Nuclear Power Plant with stupid inspectors and operators: Please see here. Nuclear Power in a part of the world so prone to earthquakes and tsunamis they have 40 ft high seawalls and strict building codes: Unsafe. Now I am not an expert on Nuclear Power by any means, but building the plant seems like a stupid idea to begin with.
  9. Tool - Parabola *Ends*
  10. Poets Of The Fall - Can You Hear Me
  11. I can't really vote on one as I run Linux and Windows regularly. Although my computer right now is running Windows XP.
  12. Sabaton - Attero Dominatus (Graspop 2008)
  13. Pendulum - Self vs. Self (feat. In Flames)
  14. Billy Talent - Rusted From The Rain
  15. Michael Crichton? Yeah thats an author that slipped my mind. Yeah his novels are very enticing, its shame that he died. I've read the "Andromeda Strain" and "Jurassic Park", and found them to be very entertaining and well written. I'm ashamed to say I was unaware of his passing. I've been meaning to pick up The Andromeda Strain to read. I'll be reading Rising Sun (By Chrichton) soon. I've only seen, and am a fan of, the film version of Andromeda though. (The good 1971 version, not the crappy 2008? A&E remake.)
  16. Ah, nice choice. The Danish composer Jesper Kyd did a masterful job with the Hitman series. Just as well, I'd say, as he did with the Assassin's Creed series. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the Halo Series (Marty O'Donnell), C&C (Frank Klepacki), and the unmentioned but fairly good Alan Wake original soundtrack (Petri Alanko). I'd also like to add Unreal Tournament to my list.
  17. I'm not denying that. I love his music. His solo stuff is really good too.
  18. Dire Straits - Money for Nothing I have this damn song stuck in my head.
  19. I have to say, while it was Steve Jablonski and not Frank Klepacki that did Command and Conquer 3, he didn't do a bad job imitating the style Klepacki created for the Tiberium Series. As shown here.
  20. I don't know if anyone else here has seen this, but I thought I'd post it.
  21. The "Scary Man" would be Steven Harper. I.E. The man who somehow hasn't been voted out of Parliament yet. Also, that Behavior Modification video was freakin brilliant.
  22. I know it's unlikely that anyone outside of Canada has any idea who Rick Mercer is, so I thought I'd post some links to videos he's done for his TV show and see what everyone outside of Canada thinks of him. Rant about Swine Flu panic.
  23. Regarding Hell March. Favorite Piece of C&C Music would have to be Dusk Hour from Tiberian Sun It perfectly sets the mood for the game's setting.
  24. You aren't the only one feeling that.... Although I think the Zero Punctuation episode about Black Ops summarized America perfectly.
  25. It really does. There are only a few decent series on that channel, and I know where to look for new episodes. (The creators of said series have their own blogs.) So I don't need to subscribe to them. However, if I do recall correctly, some of those creators get paid for their work. That being the main reason they still submit content to Machinima.
