  1. Alright so he's done this before. I don't remember. My question still stands out of curiosity.
  2. In Freemans Mind, you're actually not freemans mind. You're the camera that hovers RIGHT NEXT to his head. A Waterproof, bulletproof, floating camera.
  3. The beginning was funny, but the water parts sucked. And freeman only walked about 200 feet. This was a meh-pisode.
  4. I could watch this stuff forever.
  5. "prepubescent 13 year olds" I didn't know Justin Bieber watched FM!
  6. A very good episode this one. Highlights for me were the encounter with the sniper, the trip mine, and being bitten for the first time whilst underwater. Great job.
  7. is there a way to get the blur filter in the game?
  8. but he uses overlays in the game.
  9. I understand that it was the effect he was going for and I think it was very funny. However, prepubescent 13 year olds, may not. I could easily see the confusion that will occur later, and I think he's opening himself to criticism: "Hey, you were saying all those things to the scientist about his mother and he just ignored them" "It's Freeman's Mind, it's in his head" "But earlier, he couldn't think underwater, my life is over!!!!!!!!11111!!!"
  10. India? I once heard that you could live like a king for $10,000 in India... I can't remember who told me that though...
  11. I ran out of ammo once and killed it with the crowbar.
  12. Indeed, if here were speaking clearly underwater then we'd have different people complaining but for the opposite reason. "WHY IS HES TALKING UNDERWATER ? YOU CAN'T BREATHE UNDERWATER!" "It's called Freeman's Mind. It's all in his head." "IF IT WERE IN HIS HEAD WE'D HEAR ECHOES CAUSE THAT'S HOW PEOPLE THINK IN CARTOONS." "..." Personally, I think it's funny, and ultimately that's what Ross is going for.
  13. This was great. I'll admit that I was surprised when I received the Email Update. And people, quit ripping on the fact that he mumbles under water. Personally, I believe that it would somewhat ruin the illusion that he was underwater.
  14. sweet.. they are coming fast!! you're the man Ross!
  15. If we judge by one of the fastest speedruns on youtube, Ross is now 17:51 into that 36:04 minute video. So 49.5% done. However, that also includes the end-game sequence, and he actually kills the final boss at 32:45. So Ross is approximately 54.5% of the way through the game.
  16. i killed it with a pistol... Were you supposed to be only able to kill it with the crossbow? I never found the crossbow until like a few levels before Xen
  17. your sick? Well then eat lots of toast and drink lots of diet soda and sprite. Every couple hours gargle with the soda and then eat something soft, like rice. Within a few days you should feel better. hope this helps
  18. EDIT: and not only are the muffled hums consistent with other water scenes, the barley understandable words are as well. When Freeman leaped off the Tentacle's tunnel pit, in the water he was saying: "That was Awesome! Need some air... need some air."
  19. Actually, even though this is consistent since it's happened every time he's put his head in water, he's still thinking thoughts and you can still even hear some of them. Like when he slips off the side of the thin wall and falls in, he says "Not again..."
  20. Actually, it was just a blur filter applied and taken off at the correct times.
  21. Well, I suppose you could say he got stuck while it sped up, but you can imagine it already, just "Whoooaaaa! - *Bang* *Clash* *Underwater* MhRmhm!" And so on.
  22. I'm glad you were talking to ThatatoneJeff and not me.
  23. Even though is was quite short but it was a great episode. I can't wait till you get to the crossbow and that giant fish (itchasaur?).
  24. 3/4 of the game? I'm pretty sure he's at about 45% of the game if not less.
  25. Yes. In HL2 there are bubbles in the water, and since he uses HL:Source I guess there are also bubbles in the water
