2 things: 1, Mass effect 3 will be the cover story for next month's Gameinformer and info has been leaked already! You have no idea how excited I am! 2 I just beat insanity, now I have Arrival and LotSB to go to finish this playthrough out.

I did the math a day ago. If Duke chewed a new piece of gum every five minutes, 24 hours a day, for 12 years, he'd have a wad over 2 million pieces big.

Mine is the same as my name here.

Do the words political shitstorm mean anything to you? You can't bludgeon through bureaucracy.
-
Ya know the title of this post made me think that it was gonna be about the Magnavox Odyssey.
-
Might you be insinuating snidely or asserting disingenuously?

Happy to help. Now if you'll excuse me, need to discover how scale itch got onto Normandy. Sexually transmitted disease only carried by varren. Implications unfortunate.

Have you noticed that the kestrel helmet looks amazingly similar to the guy from Marathon's?
-
I'm a console player and never used 'em myself so I don't have first hand experience in this, but I believe the website is masseffectsaves.com or something like that.
-
Yeah that was the pack. I have everything except the equalizer pack (the one with two visors and inferno armor) and the first appearance pack. And yeah, kestrel is really helping, especially since every time my shields go down I have 100 points of damage and 240 newtons of force going out in an 18 meter radius! On top of that the armor also restores half my shields whenever it goes down! I'm really enjoying the sentinel, I hated the sentinel in the first game just from looking at kaiden's stats screen, they really stepped it up for the sequel. My favorite class is the adept still though. They nerfed it so badly with global cooldown though I understand why, in ME1, I steamrolled insanity with not losing my barrier for 90% of the game.

sadly no, you can't transfer cross platform, but there are save file generators for the pc version so you can recreate your 360 save files.
-
I did the collector ship earlier tonight, did the whole thing without dying! I felt awesome. Do you have the firepower pack weapons? All three kick serious ass.
-
In a word, Damn. Imagine what bethesda or rockstar would do with that?!
-
This is the first time playing a sentinel for me. Tech armor is a lifesaver on insanity. I was using barrier as an "Oh S***!" button on my adept and I decided to take the class that had one built in this time. it doesn't hold up as much as you want, but 5 extra seconds against a praetorian is life or death.

I LOVE Mass effect. I'm playing through the second game on Insanity for the first time right now with a Sentinel.
-
I love Claptrap, but apparently Duke doesn't. Anyone else notice that Duke uses a Borderlands rocket launcher in that?
-
You know what I find hilarious about that movie? he walks into the bank with a shotgun and looks around. No one cares. Then he tells then that he's there to kick ass and chew bubblegum. Still no worries. And he's all out of bubblegum, instant panic! Somebody find this guy some gum, quick! lol!

Just how exactly do you intend to keep out someone as deadly and allknowingly omnipotent as Freeman and as durable as Mike out?
-
Anyone else interested in this game? it wasn't on my radar until that recent trailer, but it looks very interesting and I must admit that the trailer music is stuck in my head.
-
that line wasn't directed at you, it wasn't really directed at anybody at all. EDIT: might that be Sidney's ultra SMG by chance?
-
I've seen that notice too. I'm actually kinda glad in a weird way, cause now I have time to play Portal 2 more and Duke will be (hopefully) coming out right around my birthday. Plus have you seen the Gearbox video where they announced the delay? F***ing priceless! In pseudo-celebration of this I decided to finally pick up the xbox arcade port of Duke 3D and play through that again. I haven't touched that game in, well, forever.

I've got the Balls of Steel Edition preordered. I'm honestly interested in the game more because of its near mythical status as eternal vaporware that its actual quality (I'm sure it will be awesome, but that's more a fringe benefit). In May, one of gaming's greatest running gags comes to an end. Anyone else care?

For Both Dead Space games the cutter will perform just about anything you need. I almost never touched the rest of the arsenal in the first game just because of how good the cutter was. I have rounded out my habits in the second one for variety's sake. I LOVE the javelin gun, especially for the pack (shoot it at the ground and then fry the horde with 1.21 jigawatts of demetia engineering death!) EDIT: yeah the checkpoints can be a pain sometimes in DS2

I was thinking that, but it didn't read right to me when I was writing it.

I'm currently in the process of, after more than 6 100% playthroughs across 3 years, finally finishing an Insanity run of Mass effect 1.
