To be fair, in the first read, the beginning is slow, and can kill it for some people. In hindsight, the beginning has some of my favorite parts. -
I've been playing Orianna and really liking her. the fact the she sounds exactly like GLaDOS just makes her all the more awesome.

I'm beginning to think that his nonchalantness here is because he partially doesn't realize what's going on, and he also got out a lot of his 'Holy shit wtf is that alien thingy?!!?' at the series outset, and its also setting it up for a major shocker when Freeman gets his head back together.

I just got back, pick up Duke tommorrow or the day after. A lot of people are hating on it, but I'm hopeful. My real concern is having to choose between Duke and League of Legends

I get back from my vacation, and there's a new Freeman's Mind waiting for me, perfect. Keep up the great work, but slow the pace to whatever you think is needed for best quality, we can wait.

I just gave this game a chance, based on the urgings of my friends, and I'm loving it, the DotA clone that it is. I'm sort of a sucker for these things, I had a helluva time with Monday Night Combat

I think he was a little too calm about the barnacle, otherwise, well done. Something as crazy as he went through could have all been just a dream, and it'll be funny to have him start freaking out again and relearning his lessons.

At the very least I think it would be a fun diversion. Maybe getting Ross and the mods' opinions would be beneficial?

looks like reviewers panned it, as expected, for being just what it is. I'm even more excited now. I have to put off getting it for a week though because I'll be visiting friends out of town.

Considering that the original Prey was developed parallel to Duke Nukem Forever, and was released out of nowhere after years of being assumed dead, maybe it'll get a delay and be retooled.

off topic, but am I the only one a bit off put by Chell's expression? her eyes are always locked wide open in a sort of dear-in-headlights stare. I like her redesign, but the eyes look weird to me.

I like reading the manuals and I always appreciate the effort to have a color manual these days, it's one of the little things that shows a developer cares.
