I'm not a fan of the idea of introducing multiplayer considering the possibilities for failure (See Bioshock 2), but I'm hoping Bioware can keep focused on the single-player and keep EA from side-tracking them on a waste of time and disc space.

In the words of The King himself, "Holy Shit!" reduced loadtimes for console version! That's pretty much the biggest gripe I had besides the two weapon system, looking forward to it. Now if only they could give you scuba gear for that annoying ass underwater boss fight....

Saw a lets play of this, was unimpressed honestly. Guess playing it myself would enhance the effect, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the type of thing to scare me. Dead Space is more my brand of horror game.

Was browsing the archives for the news posts and came across the interesting fact that in 2007 CP had a forum at http://civilprotection.freeforums.org/ but was taken down at some point for a ToS violation of some kind by its host. This was well before my time at AF and so it came as a suprise. Anyone remember that place; how it was? Anyone know how long it lasted? (I didn't find a news post announcing its removal, but granted I didn't look too hard) Any veterans still lurking in the shadows?

I've personally come to the conclusion that any instance of Freeman speaking should be voiced by Ross. Valve will most likely never give him a speaking role, but if they do, he's their voice. Now to get Valve to agree to this....

This. Me too. Precisely, I've forgotten enough Spanish to basically be entirely non-functional with it, but retained enough to recognize it when I see it and try to see if the other people speak English. I would enjoy learning German, or maybe Russian, Latin would be cool too.

Poor, or fixed camera angles. I want to enjoy the game, and one of the biggest things I hate is having to fight the game itself just to be able to see, and if I can't see, its damn hard to enjoy. I don't mean darkness in horror games making it hard to see, that's fine, but if the camera gets in my way it's a real dealbreaker for me. I don't know why Resident Evil insisted on those horrible cameras for all those years.

What I meant was that I took about two hours or more to fall asleep, spending that time just sitting there trying to go to sleep, and sometimes just not sleeping at all. Getting a 2-6 hour "nap" irregularly whenever my body has just decided it wont stay up anymore. Seems to be clearing up now, but getting back into the pattern of oversleeping I usually get into during the summer.
