This inspired me, and this is my results. Not really trolling per-se, considering how it went, but my best result so far and my best attempt at being our lovable neurotic physicist pre-Resonance Cascade. In Hindsight, I was a bit too vulgar, and the "prey" was fairly naive and it was somewhat lowbrow to pull the wool over his eyes, but meh, it is what it is. Also I was grossly euphemistic about the frequency of the presence of radioactive waste in Black Mesa, making it a bit more plausible.

Been chilling down around here lately, typical for this time of year, around 50 degrees and heating up only to 75ish during the day, just southeast Louisiana winter for you. Dark and cloudy, windy, but with surprisingly little rain.

I found the older stuff funnier, but Jon has really tried to grow as a writer and I can appreciate that, he does good work still and I'm eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the current season. I'm still waiting for Arby to smack Ch33f around with a frying pan and tell him "I'm The Arbiter, motherfucker," again in homage to the 1st episode. Been so many opportunities but no dice yet lol

"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant and vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." "Are you, like, a crazy person?" "I'm sure they would say so."

The still quietness of the darkened halls of Bungie, forever emptied of its shimmering Halo, hath driven me to residence upon these Accursed shores. I await the Anniversary of its memory and then be done with it, holding fast to the joys of years past, looking on to idols unknown and yet unseen.

bot games are soooo easy though, pvp is the core of the game man. The community has its problems, but what game community doesnt?

I took the name shisno btw, if you ever strike up the thought to tele to me. I didn't really want the name, a friend usually runs with some variant of that and I was just checking to see if it was available and then I got locked with it. He hasn't played this game yet, so no problems yet tho lol. Gets some other friends confused though.

Yeah, they were supposed to be the Jack of All, Master of none in 4, but, as we all know, Oblivion's system made it ridiculously easy to power lvl in everything, making every playthrough very similar unless you intentionally limited your character.

I had long forgotten it, just youtubed it, and am now haunted by it, thank you Alyxx, you've just given me less reason to sleep than I already barely had. Being exhausted from classes and insomniatic (is that a word? lol) is the best combo ever btw.

Any Summoners out there? Ye Accursed Posters should take a look at this game, been hooked to it for months now.

By chance, do you have any server preference? I tend to gravitate towards Sprite whenever its up, I know its all random, but for some reason I get way better results there.

Some of my earliest gaming memories are of misc. arcade games, duck hunt and mario on an old NES and Street Fighter 2 on SNES, some of the 1st games I really got into playing for myself though were all N64, and playing the PS1 with my Dad. I got into shooters kinda late, mostly being a console gamer I couldn't really get ahold of a well done one until the 1st Halo. A lot of my childhood was spent with a gameboy in the back seat on a long car ride. God knows how many hours I sank into that Blue Version.

I'm sticking to my Dark Elf, super badass of all things with a preference for swords and magic man, Dunmer FTW!

Source was doing that back in 03.... EDIT: OK, so 04, my bad. Always thought of Half Life 2 as an 03 game but apparently it was late 04....

This opportunity still open? I'd like to be changed to just Arby if it's possible. I'm used to seeing this being already taken on websites or games, but I figure if its open here I want it before its gone.

had a level 20 archer today, got the whole server fighting a cyclops god, killed it, then died trying to take on a skull shrine. Raids get epic with huge parties and high level mobs.

looks pretty cool, that video got me pretty pumped for it and then a pirate captain fragged me at lvl 3, lulz, and I almost soloed that too

It's mostly dependent on your hard drive size, tbh. If you have the space, go ahead. Load times are generally decreased and the system runs quieter. Don't do this for older games though, like ones from 07 (Halo 3 explicitly warns you not to install it) and older especially, since those were optimized to run from the disk and it can actually run worse installed.

Duke Nukem Forever got a bad rap, especially the console edition, but it's one of the best games out there for pure fun if you can overlook a few minor issues. If you like something story-based and enjoy Stephen King-style books I recommend Alan Wake.

I'm not a fan of BF especially, in general I've liked the gameplay of CoD, but I came to hate Bobby Kotick and his handling of Activision with the Infinity Ward MW2 debacle. Think I'm sitting out this year, I'm boycotting CoD and not too interested in picking up BF3, Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock is what I'm waiting for.

I swear there was one with myself and Micheal Archer going on about Objectivism a long time ago, possibly not in this section, or deceptively titled though. Was I the only one that actually liked the 2nd game? I liked all the streamlining of the tonic system and the plasmid/weapon combat system. I liked the story, the mystery and light horror being replaced with a focus on a strong individual battling against an overtly Collectivist-Altruist villian on a personal quest with greater insight on a few old characters in a new light. The multiplayer however, I like to pretend it didn't exist and generally blame it for tanking the review scores.
