The shooting section of my shelf starts at Bioshock and runs up through the next 2 rows, ending at Wolfenstein, and that's just the first person ones. That said, I love me a good RPG.

For once, the Xbox version has a console-specific bug. Apparently Skyrim uses a fancy system optimized for streaming content off the disk, like older 360 games *cough* Oblivion *cough* used, that makes textures load at a much lower quality if the game was installed to the hard drive. It works normally if you don't install it, but then you cant take advantage of the reduced load time that installing it would give you.

as a lore junkie, I feel implored to say that its, thankfully, not literal lol. It comes from a blessing of the dragon god Akatosh upon men. The Emperors were all dragonborn, that was the only way they could light the "dragonfires" the kept Oblivion from invading, which was the point of the plot of the last game.

I'm sorry, too busy playing Skyrim to comment upon how awesome it is.

I just booted up Oblivion and apparently I put over 400 hours into my main 100% completion character, if Skyrim can deliver even half as much wonderment and fun as Oblivion did, it will put most of the other holiday games to shame.

It's Bethesda, expect occasional bugs on top of open world gold. When I first got an Xbox 360, I could play Halo 1 & 2, Cod 2, and Oblivion on it. I didn't need a new game for months.
