This thread got me thinking... You know what'd be hilarious? At Ross's current releasing schedule, he reaches the end of episode 2, and episode 3 is still not even released.

Since episode 10 was on the front page.

That would most likely be MP4, for use in iTunes.

Personally, either keeping it WMV or changing it to MP4 would be the best. As it stands, I convert the WMV into a MP4 for iTunes without issue. The microphone also doesn't seem to have any problems, maybe on some high frequencies and loud noises problems are audible, but it still is good.

Still, there comes a point where distrusting the argument from authority is akin to idiocy. I don't ask the opinion of a common person on grand military strategy, instead I ask people who've been educated in the discipline. In climatology, a sufficiently complicated field, I would do the same, as it is too complicated to make large assumptions without proper education. I would trust their opinions as they are much more likely than the layman to answer correctly.

I suggest we change the title of this thread to Climate Change. The term Global Warming is a tad of a misnomer, in my opinion. As for my opinion on this subject. Yeah, we're having a substantial effect, but we don't currently know enough about the climate to definitively know how large that effect is. Other effects need to be taken into account than just GHG emissions. A case in point is the odd correlation between the Maunder Minimum and the Little Ice Age, as well the effects of clouds regarding absorption of infrared radiation posited by Henrik Svensmark. As a future physicist, I have complete faith in the non political scientists working to this regard. My personal idea is to assume we are making the largest possible effect, and then plan and react accordingly. Like Scotland has, by setting a 100% renewable energy target by 2020!
