My headcanon is that Equestria's Sunset Shimmer murdered her counterpart when she assimilated into that world.

So apparently it's bad to remind Rainbow Dash, who at that point was endangering lives to complete her catchphrase, that she wasn't the only hero in Ponyville. "Dumb" is certainly a word that applies here, but not to the episode. XD

So far I've liked every season, and I put them all pretty close to one another in terms of quality, but: 1 > 3 > 2 And I count EG as part of season 3. I don't know what the hell kind of standard the fandom used to judge Mare Do Well as a bad episode but... no. XD

That's not the problem, the problem is that it was a bit too overdone. Yeah, a lot of fan videos I've seen tend to lay the memes on pretty heavily. Don't need those constant tongue-in-cheek references to be funny. Nothing puts me off of an animation faster than Lyra's hand-obsession. It is good to see nomorethan9 put out a new animation, though. EDIT: Gotta say, not really surprised that Fluttershy won.

Yep, that was about what I expected given his other videos. The gore-related fan stuff isn't my taste, but there's no denying the dude's animation skill. I notice he didn't leave his attorney's contact information in this one. In any case, time to watch the Smile scene from the show to remind myself that it's still a happy song.

Looks like the mother has become the breakout character from that Button Mash cartoon. If the influx of fanfiction is any indication, anyhow.

I'm not sure how seriously Hasbro ever took the show. It was the cast and crew that wound up working on this specific generation of it that made it good (and the objective by Hasbro was always to sell toys), and those of them who haven't moved on don't seem any less committed to the quality of their work than they've ever been. The way I see it, the only part Hasbro has to play in keeping Friendship is Magic good is not cancelling it.
