Wondering why my internet goes to shit every time I try installing something on Steam these past few days, but goes back to normal when I stop.

I don't remember much but here it goes: There were two women, who I'm going to call Sarah and Tiffany. Tiffany had three children, and Sarah had none. Sarah agreed to adopt Tiffany's children. Some time later, Tiffany went batshit crazy, claimed Sarah kidnapped her kids. I remember having a conversation with something about this event that took place (it even reached the news) Like I was there or something, and the news was recapping what happened. I remember waking up, and wondering if the news story was real or not. I know there's things I'm forgetting, I just don't remember.

I'm starting to think the internet doesn't want me to (re)install any games anymore. This is like the 10th time, I've lost connection trying to reinstall The Stanley Parable. Not the first time this sort of thing has happened to me before too.
