  1. It's still Alpha. It's actually pretty fun once you figure out what to do. Best way to build a base: stay away from anything unnatural (plane crash, tents, luggage, etc) and don't chop down trees near your base. It's slower but they investigate cut down trees and anything unusual. I would say wait a bit though. It tends to break pretty easily still.
  2. The Forest. I found an easy way to actually build up a safe area before any of the Cannibals find you. Complete with regenerating food source and clean water.
  3. My skype name is blightmare (look for the disturbing jigglypuff) And as for time ranges, well, I can't really give an estimation for that. It changes from day to day, but the average range is anywhere from 1 in the afternoon to 3 in the morning. XD I'm also flagged as invisible a lot since I have a friend that's basically if I'm seen online I'm getting a call. I need to have SOME time to myself.
  4. Vanilla and Almond Black Tea.
  5. "Welcome to Tumblr! First of all, how dare you!?"
  6. Aha, so you'll all be gossiping behind my back! Regards Don't you worry one bit, sir. We'll say only the most conspiratorial things possible about you.
  7. Lately I've been cleaning out my room for the first time in years. As a result I've been stumbling across a lot of things I forgot about from my high school days. Simple things like silly stories written on folded paper and jokes me and my friend came up with and... it's honestly left me really bummed. Like, some of these things I'm finding, it's all completely silly, yet there's a certain creativity to it. A creativity I feel like I don't have anymore. I used to create these crazy worlds in my head and now I just don't know what happened to all of it. I kinda wish I still had that creativity or at least I still had what sparked it. I wish I knew where it came from and where it went. I guess I finally realized I've grown up and become that boring adult I feared I'd become as a child.
  8. I'd be down for that. I'm not on it much though. As of now I only ever talk to like one person on Skype.
  9. Vlogs are difficult for me with my ADHD (as are podcasts, unedited playthroughs, etc. Basically anything that runs for a long period with a lot of downtime) but I'd be willing to give it a watch if you want me to.
  10. Borderlands: "44 friends play this" Borderlands 2: "55 friends play this" Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel: "9 friends play this" hm...
  11. Can't change avatar, or any profile information. Every time I try it leads to a white screen and refreshing does nothing nor changes anything when returning to the page.
  12. Games like these are what I hope to do in the future once I can secure a good enough income that I can make things for fun. Silly, but thought out. I also like how the ROBERT Sentry is literally an untextured Unity sphere primitive that floats around XD. I like this kind of forward thinking.
  13. Neuro Sonic. I can feel the energy vibrating my cellular structure.
  14. Indeed. I just had another one of those gems for "stupid" reasons. I was browsing Steam looking through whatever they had and I was in the Indie section when i stumbled across Savant: Ascent. It was a dollar on sale and I thought "screw it, I like Savant, and you can't go wrong for a dollar." So I bought it. It turns out it's a Dubstep arcade game with nothing but Savant's music. It's built around high scores and you get new abilities by collecting CD pieces to unlock new tracks you can have playing in the back ground. I've been playing for like half an hour and I love it already. XD It's got some flaws but I can let it slide. It's literally 2 dollars not on sale. I expected a lot less than what I got for that price.
  15. Music. What even is.
  16. Browsing Steam, downloading Savant: Ascent, and debating internally about possible purchases.
  17. Savant: Ascent. I literally only got this because it was a dollar and it's themed after the musician Savant.
  18. Has anyone else here bought something on a whim for pretty much stupid reasons and discovered something really good? The other day I bought this thing of bagged black tea with vanilla and almond. Normally I wouldn't have even given that a second look because frankly it sounds kinda plain; but I read a short story for a class back in high school, and while it wasn't very good, I was reminded of the cyanide poisoned tea in the story which was described to "taste slightly of almonds". So my reasoning for buying it was, literally in my head, "Heh, I'm gonna buy this cuz cyanide." For me, how much I like a tea is equal parts flavor and scent. I like to enjoy my tea with both of those senses. So when I got home and opened it, the first thing I noticed was that it was quite possibly the BEST smelling tea I've ever had. Even it's flavor is really good. None of the flavors overpower any of the others and to this day it's the only tea I feel is actually complemented by cream and sugar, since all it does is enhance what's there. (normally cream and sugar makes all the teas I try taste like the same thing so I don't use it) So yeah, I discovered one of the best teas I've had in years and it's all thanks to shitty stories and cyanide!
  19. I can't listen to ABBA. Not because I don't like them, but because the person who introduced them to me was from, and partially the cause of, a part of my life I very much didn't like. Like I even like a few of there songs but I just get reminded of that person. Anywho, currently listening to some good ol'(not so old, really) Mystery Skulls cHy4Y4z2Nb8
  20. Reviving for one more addition since it's been a recurring thing in my life the past few weeks. It happens everywhere, including here, but it's my Battle.net friends that kinda triggered this. They're cool but god damn them sometimes. -The One-Up mentality. The mindset that you have to one up everything people say because apparently it matters. When someone's talking about something they like, the last thing they want to hear is "Well this is better." Don't do that. Like, seriously, don't. No one likes it and no one cares. If you want someone to try something, just say "This is similar to the thing but I personally like it more, you should give it a try" It's basically the same thing without the lack of credibility and has a much higher probability that they're actually going to listen.
  21. Well I didn't even know it was an issue until Kyou's post since I change that stuff like once every lifetime.
  22. Watching Godzilla (2014) It's no masterpiece, but it's fun to watch and definitely better than the last attempt at a Godzilla movie.
  23. Well I was about to say no, but I just tried and any attempts to change it lead to a white screen with no change. Huh.
  24. 8:30 at night, what's my dad's brilliant idea? LET'S BUILD A FUCKING SHELF! Tried telling him to just move the boxes to my room so we can do this on the weekend because I would like to actually eat dinner tonight and go to bed at an hour before fucking tomorrow, but that would be the smart thing to do, wouldn't it? And how does my dad deal with intelligence when it conflicts with his bad ideas? Pretends the person saying it doesn't exist! So when I insisted we wait until a time when it would actually be a GOOD idea, he get's mad at me. If he's gonna be this unreasonable he can build the damn thing by himself. I'm not starting a 4 hour project when I'm already hungry and tired. Edit: Just managed to talk him into putting it off at least until tomorrow but now both of us are in a bad mood. I hate dealing with iron stubbornness god damn.
