  1. Sweet melatonin, deliver me from this waking world.
  2. I'm still trying to mentally envision a bear throwing a 50 pound rock. That's terror right there. So just now I was having some slight internet trouble and things were loading super slow. I tried to go back to the index and the most appropriate load hang happened.
  3. CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB & PNY XLR8 8GB Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 290. Three fan variety PSU: 850w EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR HDD: WD Black Series 4TB Monitor: ASUS VX228 Originally supposed to have only 16GB of ram but got a free extra 8 stick. As much as I like ASUS parts I don't think I'll be going with their monitors again anytime soon. Keep having issues with them :S
  4. Please Return Our Pony Soon TCSMN
  5. Although, yellow is a weird colour. X3 Why did ya'll decide on YELLOW? Why not... cyan? I dunno. THat's probably too distracting of a colour.
  6. If you think California is an orgy of surfers you might be from... not California.
  7. Meat
  8. Surprise!
  9. Please Order Our Tortellini Immediately. WTWSF
  10. Not to mention probably amongst most stressful experiences they've had. Depending on how big it was that could have gone sour in a matter of minutes.
  11. I've always figured when I'm dead, I'm dead. Not much use for my body after that, which was pretty much my thought process when checking the "organ donor" box when getting my ID. I'm honestly hoping that if the circumstances of my death leave my organs healthy, that they can be used to save someone else. And I'm completely aware that not everyone think's like that and that's perfectly fine. I figure if they give you the greenlight when they're alive then it's all good. Animals are a different story, since as far as I'm aware you can't get consent out of an animal. I guess if the purpose is educational like dissection then it's for a good purpose, but if it's something along the lines of "Yo dude I just found this dead animal let's cut it open" Then it bothers, and kinda worries me.
  12. llSacf39SEI Nah, I'm not sure how to answer those honestly. It took me by surprise just as much as you. I think yellow works fine for this theme. Dark forum with bright color names to help identify the mods clearly.
  13. I haven't gotten very far into that podcast at all and it's very difficult to continue listening to it. Before even hitting the 10 minute mark he's been throwing out arguments that don't make much sense and the "well what about you?" kind of passive aggressive responses. By minute 15 he's already throwing out insults and getting indignant when insults are sent back. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to last the full hour and 40 minutes. Edit: I made it to minute 21 then I had to stop. Yeugh. Jim Sterling, you're a stronger person than I.
  14. Playing Terraria. Also internally debating whether or not to take a lengthy, lengthy nap or continue playing Terraria.
  15. I guess on paper that makes sense for the expert mode model, though it sounds like the scaling has no ceiling making it impossible for anyone no matter how well geared to beat the fight once a certain number of people are present. Gonna go back and see if I can't coax out a couple of solar eclipses. I want that Death Sickle.
  16. Does the boss system scale health/damage with player count? Because the first time I downed Eater and Eye was with 2 others and we were all undergeared. (random spawns not intentional summons.) It wasn't easy and at least one always died tho.
  17. Terraria AGAIN. Made some progress into expert hardmode. one of the 3 mechanical bosses down and in the process of preparing for the other two. They have way too much health...
  18. Welcome Bide! Always good to have new people on the forums. Unfortunately we're not sure when the UCP will be fully functional again. It's been down for some time but the issue is being worked on. Hopefully not too much longer.
  19. Because why not? Welcome to the forums Kenwood and Niblets!
  20. Yeah same. That's actually a really neat analogy.
  21. Hey everyone, I recently just got put on the moderator team and wanted to give everyone the update. Don't worry, I'll still be the same ol me just with a little bit of stepping in to help keep the peace now.
  22. Well for me the easier part comes from having more time to gauge and react to enemy actions due to the slower pace. Bloodborne was very see-it-and-react-fast-or-take-the-hit. I'm still trying to figure out the Estus refill thing since not all camp fires seem to fill them. lol that didn't change from bloodborne I see XD Thanks for all the other tips though. Especially about the armor and the stats. One of my biggest problem with games like these is constantly worrying about what my stats will do in the long run and it helps to not go in completely blind. Bloodbornes armor almost didn't make much of a difference. I did a few quick tests and took a hit for the same enemy both with my best armor and no armor and the health bar took only about a centimeter more off. And for stats, after about 50, both vitality and endurance seemed to lose their immediate benefits. Whether that's part of the diminishing returns on the attribute itself, due to my level being over 100, or some combination of both I can't say. I really should look into that some more.
  23. SyZiCSXkrUg haven't listened to this group in ages.
  24. Terraria again. I just finished building my fortress in the new file and I totally didn't name it the Chode Abode. Just like I didn't name my last one Phallus Palace. Nope.
  25. In 11th grade high school I broke my collar bone clean in half during PE soccer. The break was so bad that they were considering realignment surgery but ultimately decided not to on the grounds that it's not a vital bone so they just let it heal on it's own. Even now if you were to compare both my collarbones you can clearly see the right one is several inches out of alignment. Now for the description! The circumstances of the break can be attributed to overly competitive behavior. It was me and 5 other semi-friends (we always grouped up during PE but rarely talked outside of it) so 3v3. I was on the far right running down the field while the other 2 were on the left. the ball got kicked out to the right so I bolted for it. Thing is the ball was about equal distance between me and one other on the opposite side, and we both weren't about to let the other get it. Both of us went running as fast as we could towards the ball, and I managed to get there first and kick the ball. Missions accomplished, eh? Not quite. The ball was relatively equal distance from us both, and we both run at about the same speed. I kicked that ball away, but there was no way either of us were able to stop, and we collided. We collided so hard that I don't remember anything between kicking the ball, and rolling onto my side to get up off the grass. All I remember is I put my hand down to help push me up and the most intense pain in my shoulder caused me to sit back down. To make matters worse no one initially thought it was that bad at first and one of them walked up behind me and started doing that hand massage thing on my shoulder going "You alright?", gripping down hard directly on the broken bone. They had to call the janitor cart to give me a ride to the nurses office because the force of impact and the break sent me into shock and I couldn't walk or speak. (I wanted to say something but I couldn't get my mouth to work) The nurse took one look and went "oh yeah, that's broken." and the doctor who checked it out said that I was lucky the broken bone didn't puncture the skin.
