  1. Path of exile. First thing that happened today was have an Exalted orb drop. My friend was so mad that I got one before everyone else even though I'm the latest to start the new league. Then before I logged off to head to class, another Exalted orb dropped and now my friend is demanding I give him the first. -.-
  2. What I mean is all posts that followed after mine would end up inside my quotes until the next page. Like whatever was going on with the mess of tags I had broke the actual html of the entire web page. I'm surprised I never got banned from any of the sites I stuck that in.
  3. Once upon a time I possessed a particular configuration of Quote tags that could engulf the entire web page below my post in a quote on forums that dared not limit how many embedded quotes you could have. I could most likely still find it if I wanted to, but maybe some things are better left lost.
  4. Building a PC, especially for the first time can lead to some interesting results. I best suggest watching some tutorials if you're gonna go that route. And also buy a static absorbing wristband. You'll thank me for that suggestion. Tangent: Laugh of the day: Websites with word filters so strict that "become" turns into "be*e" because "come" is filtered. Only the finest of their three brain cells went into that decision. Wonder if they're the same ones that From Software hired to make their name filter for Dark Souls 3. "Knight Artorias" becomes "K***ht Artorias" cuz "nig" is censored even though Knight Artorias is literally a character from Dark Souls' lore. Better yet, the entire filter can be bypassed by making any one character a capital letter. I've been invaded by someone named "Fuck Bitches" perfectly uncensored.
  5. Path of Exile. Payed back my chaos orb debt, corrupted a Tabula Rosa and got a "skill gems have 95% mana multiplier" sold that for 10 chaos, and finally reached endgame content with my facebreaker build so everything has balanced out nicely.
  6. Watching Tokyo Ghoul. Geez this is hard to watch. Not because of gore but it's so heavy hitting and much deeper than I thought it was gonna be. Like I went into it expecting a simple mindless action anime, not some deep narrative of the cruelty that humanity would succumb to in the face of what we'd call a monster. Even the worst of people in this show are given a sympathetic reason... It's also emotionally draining... Edit: That season ending. I think it's safe to say I've never seen a show go that route with it's main character.
  7. Unfortunately there isn't a version of this without the spoiler filled intro vid. :/ Still, great fucking ark. LET THE VOICE OF LUV TAKE YOU HIIIIIIIIIGHEEEER!
  8. The Witcher 3 is a pretty heavy beast on graphics. My gfx card is a 970 and I hover around 45-50 fps with mostly midrange settings. After all, these are the ingame graphics: And that second one isn't even full settings it seems. Not to mention everything in those that such as cloth, grass, etc that would be expected to have dynamic movement is affected by the physics engine to some level. Even whether will have effects on the physics and materials.
  9. Sick. Stomach problems. The gross, embarrassing kind. Snuck up on me too, I was about to head out for school. Woulda been bad if it waited til I got there -.- Sucks cuz I really like today's class. Having a bad joke loving employee of NASA teach you Java isn't something that happens everyday.
  10. Pointing out my favorite type of humor may have skewed my message a bit. I'm all for accepting the criticisms of a highly offensive joke since you'd have to have a special kind of disconnect to say one and then get upset when people get offended, especially when you know it's offensive to begin with. However what I do find grating and annoying is when you tell a joke that's ultimately harmless and innocuous and someone just happened to get upset over it for some reason only they could have and then decide that you're the one that needs to change instead of them accepting that they don't like it and moving on. I guess ultimately you can sum it up as me being tired of people taking thing's that aren't offensive and somehow finding a way to get offended by it and put people down. That "imply it was supposed to be funny" line just happens to be what I keep seeing and honestly, I wouldn't miss it one bit if that phrase just seized to exist one day. Tangent: Can IRL just chill with the health emergencies for one god damned second? My friend who's spent months under the fall path of a giant dying tree hanging over his room finally got enough money to have the tree removed, and then my dad get's hospitalized with pneumonia a week later. Several weeks after that and he's recovered, out of the hospital and doing fine, only to find out my friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I seriously can't handle this right now I'm so stressed I'm about to cry ffs. Hopefully this trend of everything turning out okay continues. I don't think I can take losing another friend right now.
  11. I just got told to Bing something. This upsets me far more than it has any right to.
  12. ^That's kinda the point I was making all along. :/ There's good jokes and bad jokes, just like there's good/bad food, movies, music, etc. The point is that they still remain what they are regardless of their timing, quality, and/or deliverance. What I hate are people who use the idea of a failed joke or something they don't find funny as a reason to put people down when they could just go about their day without making a scene. It's part of my strong distaste for the modern day Age of Outrage. No one seems to be able to just quietly dislike something and move onto something they do like. They gotta make sure everyone within a 2000 mile radius knows just how pissed they are over ultimately trivial bullshit. And yeah, I'd say some jokes aren't made with the intention of being funny in the first place. I often make jokes with little humor in them more out of desire to alleviate my annoyance with something in a less "spread the pain" manner. If anything, the reaction I'm looking for is a sympathetic "I know what you mean" chuckle. Also my favorite kind of humor is the kind that would make twitter and tumblr pop a blood vessel. What can I say, the shock value of "did they really just say that?" treats my humor nerve right. So you can imagine how annoying the "you secretly meant it, Actual Hitler" attitude gets. <_<
  13. "It's a joke." "A joke would imply that it's supposed to be funny." There it is. There's my biggest pet peeve ever. That sentence right there is how you wrap up condescension, self-entitlement, and embodiment of killjoy into one, ugly package. Your lack of humor doesn't make something less of a joke, it just means you didn't find it funny. Period. Hard stop. End of conditions. Get over yourself. Seriously though, if something isn't funny, just, idunno, be not-stupid and maybe do something else? I can guarantee you 110% or your money back that the person you say that to isn't gonna give a shit how you feel, so why even bother? Go do something that makes you happy instead of being a shit to someone else. Unless being a shit to someone else makes you happy in which case may your shoes forever be filled with legoes and your days forever full of stubbed toes.
  14. Path of Exile The damage output of facebreaker is so high it's insane. Not even halfway to endgame and I'm already doing enough damage to do endgame content.
  15. Path of Exile. I'm in debt 14 chaos orbs to my friend for getting me started early on my build with a Facebreaker and a Rigwald's Curse. The new league is so good. I can't wait to start maps.
  16. And maybe something a little more focused than "art major" Not that I have anything against studying art, but apparently getting a job with an art degree is about as hard as getting one without an art degree.
  17. Making sure everything in my PC is working properly. Finally got the replacement motherboard, the new cpu fan is installed and a new wireless network card. Connection speeds are being weird but it's also peak hours. Had some weird slowing down on computer functions but that seems gone and my idle temps went from around 45 to around 20.
  18. I find it deliciously ironic that youtube channels that claim to promote free thinking and individualism can have such mindless fanbases.
  19. I think you may have missed a joke here.
  20. Watching Aoharu x Kikanjuu. This show has all the ingredients of a trashy ecchi, what with the main character being a girl pretending to be a man, forced to work off a debt, and one of the three main characters is an erotic manga artist who draws S&M. So the fact that there's no ecchi what-so-ever and the story and plot is actually cohesive and not relying on sexual imagery is rather refreshing. Not to mention the first actual fight scene was properly animated and not the "budget loop" so many shows like to rely on.
  21. When browsing a dark forum and suddenly a large image with a white background
  22. Programming. I'm messing around in visual studio and managed to create my own custom sprite sheet animator. Give it an image, tell it how many rows and columns, and then hit play and it animates. Honestly wasn't expecting it to work as well as it did. Only thing I gotta do now is change it to ignore empty frames on the sheet since it likes to chop it in a grid and add emptiness to the animation. :S
  23. Visual Novels be like "this girl all over you like white on rice in a glass of milk on a paper plate in a snow storm. Ain't a frame for the past 2 hours that she wasn't blushing so hard color picker wouldn't pull 255,0,0 off her face." *ask to prom* "Sorry I don't like you like that" "Bad ending: loveless forever" ... wat
  24. Yup.
