Friend bought me a starter package to Star Citizen so I've been playing the (extremely buggy, to a comedic level) Alpha. We get each other killed more than we actually get anything done.

Metro: Last Light. I've already beaten it before but it's been a while. Now that I've got a good grasp on the controls I've been doing my Survival Ranger Hardcore run. Not as hard as I thought it was gonna be tbh. Though I know which parts are gonna be awful to get through.

The only ones with the power to do that are Zaraki and Jeb I believe, so it'd be a good idea to either message them privately on discord or @ message them there.

If you do, you should donate it. They make wigs out of it for people with cancer. They need at least a foot of it though I think. I've only done it once when my hair got so long it took over an hour to properly comb.

Considering my hair is about the same length, I'd say... A bit over a year? Maybe closer to 2.

Often overlooked likely apocalypse

The closest I can find regarding that number of population is requirements to successfully colonize another star system, with a recommendation of 40,000 in case of population death during the journey. http://www.popularmechanics.com/space/deep-space/a10369/how-many-people-does-it-take-to-colonize-another-star-system-16654747/ From the looks of it the reasons are the same as this scenario. -
So you send money everyday A clichéd dream just doesn't pay And no matter how hard I play, Neverland never seemed so far away You send money everyday Because I never got it made And no matter how hard I play, Neverland never seemed so far away

Dark Souls 3. Was in 2v2's. Went into a match and my teammate was hacking. Match came to a screeching halt and ended with all 4 of us shapeshifted as candelabras in a draw. I called it after that.

Thank you. I'm feeling a little better now. It's still hard to accept and I think that isn't going to change for a long time. His suffering is over but I just wish it didn't have to end like that.

Someone who's been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and was like a brother to me commit suicide 2 days ago. I'm probably not gonna be on much, I need some time alone.
-
Lol I meant "I". not sure why I typed "it". >.< OT: Still Prey. Was showing my brother how the game plays and got ambushed by a technomancer. I think that fight alone sold my brother on the game as I had to get creative to not die. I was in a terrible spot when the fight started and that could mean the difference between winning and losing.

Prey(2017) If I didn't have classes and a need to eat and sleep I'd still be playing this. This is the game I've been looking for for the past year or so and didn't even know it. There's so much to see and do and having a bioshock-style game with the atmosphere of F.E.A.R. and metroidvania level design makes this so much fun.

I like how my decision to check on tumblr to see if anything changed is perfectly aligned with tumblr doing something to reinforce my decision to not go there anymore. Popped in for the first time in a while to see some post going on about how sexist the Bayonetta games are. Which I guess would be somewhat valid, if Bayonetta WASN'T designed by a women. Which she was. Even during the design process the 3 key points the artist was given was "Female lead, modern day witch, uses 4 guns." But you know, beautiful/sexy fictional women is inherently sexist because Tumblr the Infallible says so. Doesn't matter if they are intelligent and kick ass on top of everything. Generally when you campaign against something you're supposed to actually know what you're talking about but silly me, research is for idiots I guess. It's like every time they want to make a scene about something in the game industry they always chose the wrong games. That tends to happen when you rant about a game before you even play the first level.

I finally had a truly lucid dream last night. Too bad I spent most of it marveling at how if I focused hard enough I could still move my body and maintain the dream at the same time. It didn't last long since I ended up waking myself up but it was still fun to see what would happen if I went "off script".

Path of Exile. My experiment build turned out so well that I actually jumped strait to T9-10 maps at lvl 70. Calculations estimate 370k dps in it's current state.

Studying programming when: "I'll just pop on down to the examples for some contex-" "Hahaha nevermind it's not important." Edit: What is it with korean manga that thinks all you have to do to make a person elderly is stick a mustache on someone who would otherwise look in their early 20's? I've seen that from like 3 different authors.

Have you ever read a story that was just so dark and depressing that when you finally switched to a lighthearted book it was like a splash of cool water on a hot day? I've been reading some grungy mafia-esque stories lately and when I moved over to a simple feel-good, holy shiiiit. I'm having trouble coming up with a better description than just "refreshing". Still not sure if I want to make a habit of reading the former just to improve the latter.

Sitting in class deciding if I should go home early since I finished early or if I should just work on whatever. Lecture is finished so there's no reason to stick around. I'm guessing since I'm on here I should probably just go home.

I'm not in disagreement that the school system is bad. It's um... really bad. I just think that when they decided to teach idioms is kind of missing the mark. I could point out a few firsthand examples, such as how the only class I ever had that has been of any use to me was an elective, or how at 26 I still have trouble when it comes to figuring out taxes and government forms and where to even begin with job finding and home ownership because math operations that still hold no relevance to me even as a programmer are more important. Or even how your only hope of ever getting a critical thinking class, something that I'd argue is extremely important, is if your COLLEGE offers it. As an elective. There's a lot more wrong at the core honestly.

Games you wish are digitally distributed but aren't

Black and White. Pretty much the only one I can think of right now. I'm always dropping in on GoG to see if they get it but I'm not gonna hold my breath. -
Got to climb inside a B17 today. It's been a good day.

The older Led Zeppelin's song Rock and Roll get's, the more true it becomes.

You know those laughs that you don't see coming so your body is quite literally not ready and the resulting snort is painful and ugly sounding? I had one of those.

Manga website comments are fucking gems.
