I actually like how this is going. it's pace is different that earlier, the humor is more subtle, but for this part of the game, it just works. Even if freeman is a little under-reacting to the situation in comparison to earlier.

Creativity is dying. sequels are all we know. I'm not gonna deny that this year has some good titles, but I could give less of a damn about all those titles till after I play Skyrim. being the Elder Scrolls fanboy that I am, my heart is holding only that right now.

Had this problem first playthrough. Went into the fight with no health packs, a clip of line gun, a clip of plasma cutter ammo, 2 saw blades and an empty rifle. I strategically placed those little baby things between boss and me and took out as many as I could with linegun (which traveled straight through to the boss), then looted the resulting ammo/health drops. with only 4 linegun rounds left, you can win fight depending on how lucky your drops are. of course the fight takes forever.

For me, the call of duty series. Why? because MW, WaW, MW2, and Black Ops felt like the exact same thing with only very subtle changes.
