I don't claim to know too much about honorifics, but I would settle for a Jexius-san to be safe. While he is someone you've never met in person and are probably unfamiliar with, I wouldn't necessarily call this formal speech/writing. IDK. I could be horribly wrong and insulting him for all I know. Damn honorifics confuse the hell out of me.
