Reading a story about royally fucking up time itself. I've never seen an author use the premise of timelines and the infinite possibilities from branches created through probability and tampering to make so many jokes. This includes a self replicating series of alternate timelines because a character created one simply to steal a sweater that alternate timeline version of himself stole from him.

*tries to make a joke in Random, annoys self with joke* *goes to vent thread to rant about what it is annoying them, realize it's only mild annoyance and not passionate enough for the rant* *concludes that joke is just absolutely stupid.* *gives up and goes to get ice cream.*

Watching Funhaus. A game that's basically an adult themed clicker has them more invested than any other game I've ever seen and that's about the best summary of this channel: Fucking weird but funny.

Like, what? I've literally done all the quests there is in vanilla Skyrim. I've check the UESPWiki's page for Skyrim's quests and I've done every, single, damn one of them. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Quests . There is no more. If you don't believe me Go ahead and ask me which quests you think I haven't done and I will answer them. Unless you were doing more than 16 hours per day, every day for those two weeks, you couldn't have visited every location on the map... If you did, your disappointment is probly because you were skipping sleep to play the game. I spent a week playing and found everything there was to find in about the left half of the map in terms of locations, and that's inclusive of "fucking around" hours. Not to say I don't enjoy the game even as someone who started with Morrowind but I can definitely say compared to it's predecessors it certainly falls short content-wise.

Dark Souls 3. I think I'm just gonna not do pvp in this game. It's fun under very strict circumstances but as time goes on the frequency of the downright shitty (in like-ability) players to encounter increases. I swear I haven't seen this many trolls since Modern Warfare 2 was at it's prime on youtube. FFS.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain It's not a BAD game as far as games go and it's fun to play, but it's also not a finished game and the mission design after the first "chapter" becomes insultingly lazy and uninspired. Clearly thrown together with the incompleted scraps left from when Kojima left the company. Biggest sign is requiring players to replay past story missions with difficulty modifiers before they can move on. If I wanted to do that I would just go back and use the replay mission feature that's already there and try for those challenges myself. <_< Very disappointed with it considering what preceded it.

So a bit of an older story, but back in high school I broke a bone in my hand. It wasn't a serious break but when it happened, my hand basically compressed like an accordion and now to this day it didn't heal straight even after they attempted to realign everything. If I loosely bend my right hand's fingers, starting from the pinky they all fold underneath each other. Not a problem really but it looks weird and feels funny when holding things.

^ I once showed up to a ski resort during the summer dressed in clothing for 80+ degree weather. not minutes after arriving a huge wall of fog covered the mountain and started snowing hard. Decided not to let that stop me and got a nasty cold afterwards. Cool and cloudy. Probably gonna clear out and warm up by tomorrow.

So I've been playing a ton of Dark Souls 3 lately and I'm sure that declaration is pointless given how much I've talked about it. And honestly this game is great, but it would be so much more fun if my internet wasn't corporate Hitler. With very few exceptions, most PVP deaths I've faced have been damage received from an attack that did not connect with my model, and I don't mean that in the way that the tip of the model just barely touched me, I mean full on you'd need to upscale that model 300% for it to reach me. I've taken hits from incredible distances simply because the latency decided I was still in the way of the attack a full second after clearing it's range. I'm not using this as an excuse for losing. I make a lot of mistakes and panic roll too early too often, or waste my stamina on a combo and leave nothing to roll or block with after. I'm pretty sure I'd have lost plenty of those fights with proper internet anyways, and I'm fine with that. But nothing is more frustrating, disheartening and damn well infuriating than being punished for failing to handle a situation mechanically beyond your control.

Appreciating this really weird bug I found in the bathroom(something about my bathroom that bugs like. Water maybe? God knows we have none of that in California). It looks like a pill bug but has like a million little legs of varying lengths without any apparent order to it with 2 antennae the make that sorta L shape. It's so weird. I wonder if it was a mutation or something. It looks unnatural.

You know, despite the persistent genocide of anyone named Carmine, the Gears of War series probably handled killing off a character better than just about any game I've played.

Dark Souls 3 I ended after my victory in essentially a 3v1 gank while invading. Those are frustrating enough as it is so when you manage to not just kill 3 players, but kill one of them twice because the asshole host decided to call his friend back in after he died the first time, it's a good place to stop. Quit while you are ahead and what not. To be fair it wasn't a true 3v1. There were about 2-3 times other invaders joined to help me but they all effectively fed their life to them giving them healing items (for every slain dark spirit, every other dark spirit get's 1 restored heal, and the host and his phantoms get 2 heals back) and when it came down to it, all the kills were my doing when no other invaders were present. Patience can go a long way. Invading is fun but there is a serious oversaturation of gankers.

So because I'm in a shameless Dark Souls hysteria lately, have a few! Great Grey Wolf Sif. This one broke my heart for lore reasons. BABY SIF Artorias best tragic character NA(Right after Sif) Best armor design to use for the promotional art. And then this because holy shit. And lastly, the Gaping Dragon in all it's TERRIFYING glory.

Semantics. OT: Trying to get the migraine out of my temples. Doesn't help that the house is so damn loud right now.

Dark Souls 3. After several hours of encountering asshole after asshole in pvp I decided to give some back. I went into one of the swamp regions, set my covenant to occasionally call in defenders when I'm invaded, activated the item that increases invasion chance significantly, made it so all the creatures and everything in my world would attack invaders, and then laid down underneath the lily pads with matching color armor (brown since the place resembles autumn) and just waited. Gotta say it's really funny seeing an invader with the name WreckYoSheets running right past me in a panic from a giant crab trying to kill him. He had no idea how close he got too. Only 3 people actually found me. 2 of them I managed to kill and resume hiding before anyone else noticed and the third guy liked what I was doing so much he dropped some items on the ground for me and left. XD

So the instructor for this class must be used to working with lazy high school students because she's been pushing for weeks how this final project is gonna take up the last 2 weeks of our time. And I'm done. Like, completely. As far as final projects go, this was awfully easy. The assignment went up yesterday.
