  1. New glasses and pieced ears. <3
  2. That is a fair comparison. Though you can't just put any song into it... yet. (any day now they're going to release a track editor which you can bring in your own music and develop a level for it. Even share it with others) On that note, I'm currently taking a break from playing it right now. Smacked the hell and a half out of my thumb with one of the controllers on one of the harder songs and think I broke a blood vessel.
  3. Beat Saber That moment when you get top 150 world wide zaD0BpLrUiI
  4. Beat Saber. All previous rhythm games have been merely appetizers for this one.
  5. I've been making some changes to myself lately. aka I'm not a boy anymore.
  6. I guess I'm sorta still around. Lurking mostly.
  7. False equivalents. The world does not operate off 1's and 0's. Just because the accessibility of one tool may not have anything to do with the negatives of misuse does not mean every tool follows that pattern. For example, if anyone could just buy and hop into a tank I assure you there'd be definite problems we certainly don't have right now because, what do you know, not everyone can just jump into a tank. And it seems I have to play the role of the parrot again because every time I say this I get conveniently ignored: It's gun CONTROL. Not ban. The point of it is to make sure those who own a gun are responsible enough to do so, and educated in the proper handling, maintaining, and storing of said firearm. If people are gonna be handling something so inherently lethal, there should be some kind of mental screening or similar process to make sure they're of sound enough mind to responsibly own one. Cars aren't even a weapon and you have to go through a hell of a lot more to prove you're responsible enough to operate one and no one complains about that. But the second you put even the slightest of inconveniences between people and obtaining a gun, well you may as well have spit in gods face. Honestly if you actually ARE responsible enough to own a gun you really shouldn't be worried about having to prove it. And this is all coming from someone who has a fascination (and healthy respect and fear of) guns and has even considered getting one for herself someday.
  8. I'm not gonna suffer alone.
  9. GCpNWWLjMHo OH SHIT HERE COME DAT TIME.
  10. What an absolute mess. I think I'm just gonna stick to the reddit channel. I love you guys but hot damn you are all a volatile mix. I'll be there or just Blightmare#8904 if anyone cares.
  11. Escape From Tarkov. For like 2 minutes. I only logged on to check my insurance returns and do a scavenger run. Well, in the first 2 minutes of the run I found a dead player body with PACA Armor, 2 shotguns, a blackrock ammo vest, scavenger backpack(second largest, very valuable), with another scavenger backpack inside of it, and another PACA armor inside of THAT. Basically I scored big so I ran straight for the extraction cuz I didn't want to lose any of that. Good time too cuz I heard all hell break loose in the room I had just left right before extracting.
  12. Lol that's his signature. It's attached to the bottom of all his posts. Anything below the "__________________" is the signature. Anyways, the topic is pinned here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8603 for anyone else looking.
  13. That moment when you know where a random manga image is from. OT: Escape from Tarkov.
  14. I'm not too worried about the commenting on the fighting. FM1 had long drawn out fighting in which Freeman had just outright accepted the reality of his situation and continued his thoughts while absentmindedly killing hordes of people. I think if anything, the current tone is due to the fact that Freeman has just, once again, been thrown into a shit situation in which everyone is trying to kill him again for seemingly no reason. I'm actually looking forward to the later parts of the game and seeing how Freeman reacts to his paranoia's largely being confirmed. I do gotta say, nothing makes me realize the unnaturalness of gameplay elements in accordance to a real world setting quite like this series does. "Yeah... why IS there so much ammo in an urban setting?"
  15. I think you should refrain from posting in serious discussions in the future until you're ready to properly commit to a discussion.
  16. http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_dictionarium http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Anecdotal_evidence http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Cherry_picking http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Anonymous_authority You don't particularly have the moral high ground to be calling out a logical fallacy. And for the love of god no one here is persecuting you. You posed an argument that we see inconsistencies with or disagree with, and we respond in kind. But instead of providing a sound counter-argument or some kind of evidence to support your claims, you pick out the easiest stuff to respond to and either post a nonanswer or misdirect the subject and frankly that's incredibly frustrating and insulting when some of us actually like to do our research about something we're going to respond to. And to claim that you're being persecuted for your beliefs when we attack your methods of argument needs to stop. It's possibly the most insulting part of it all, to everyone participating in this discussion AND to those who are actually being persecuted for their beliefs. Again, no one here is attacking your beliefs. We're attacking your arguments and your methods of going about them. And cut it out with the unnecessary, condescending jabs. That's a blanket statement for everyone. It's the root of all hostile responses.
  17. I didn't consent to this, brain.
  18. I love memes as much as the next lord but some things just aren't meant to meme. Let's try and keep our topics full of all natural-organic topic please.
  19. I'm not entirely sure what this information changes. If anything, it serves to reduce the severity of the point you were trying to make because you're lumping actual atrocities in with bad words and a sour attitude. This is the same thing that I dislike so much about the tumblr-brand "social justice" as it only ends up hurting more people than it ever helps. I don't doubt that everyone in this topic has faced some form of "persecution" by the strict dictionary definition but turning it into a contest of who the most oppressed person here is is dumb and an awful way to conduct a discussion. It's an act best summed up by a line in the opening song from 1776 the musical: "Piddle, twiddle, and resolve; not one damn thing do they solve." Yes, I know I technically started it but my intention was never to say that an atrocity is not an atrocity if some other group has it worse. I was simply trying to convey that if general negativity is the worst you face for your beliefs/orientation/whatever, then you're in a much better position than you think.
  20. Coding for video games be like
  21. My favorite type of person on the internet is someone who's taken to any media's official forum to complain about something and their ability to communicate with the english language begins to rapidly deteriorate as their post drags on. Like it'll start off fine but by the end of the post their sentences begin to run on with frequent misspellings, grammatical marks that make no sense, and somehow went from normal words to incoherent swearing. It's even better when it says the post has been edited. Like, how bad was it BEFORE?!
  22. The closest I can find to the length being shorter long ago is a difference of about 10 days(the length before 45 BC), if you ignored the month that was abolished, which resulted in a leap year(of selective use, apparently) that was LONGER than the current year. Not much of a significant discrepancy tbh. As for the the 304 day year, that still brings noah to about 791 years old by the modern year measurement, still a stretch if ever there was one. Ignoring that critical analysis is not ridicule, if the hardest thing going for you in your life is people not liking your beliefs because they don't understand them, then you really aren't all that bad off. Try being gay, or bi, or trans. Those 3 things are a literal death sentence in parts of the world. You want to talk about ridicule for believing, try ridicule for existing. Hell, try being a combination of those things AND religious. Those people don't have a lot of others they can go to. As for my beliefs, I'm ill at ease placing my faith in events documented by people from a time when education was reserved for the rich, privileged, and ruling classes. Let alone that the stories had generations of spoken retellings to completely change before the first bible was even written. I'm not gonna stop anyone from holding beliefs, but I'm fine going my own way in life.
  23. rOvBebOKj50 Yellow - "Fucking orange with your anger problems." Purple - "Shit, I will beat-... I'm not orange." Yellow, cracking up - "You thought I was talking about you because anger problems?"
  24. And here I was thinking I was the only person who knew about this game lol. Even made a topic for it in the obscure games forum years ago that no one posted in. That being said, wow I do not remember it being this weird. I was also like 6 when I played it so I didn't get very far and probably repressed a lot of it.
