From Software apparently fixed the loophole in their code that allowed hackers to ban innocent players by adding modified items to their inventory and the dude responsible for getting over 2000 people banned is patting himself on the back for getting them to fix it. You could just, idunno, tell them the loophole exists? It's serious enough that they'd patch it even if it was to remain relatively unknown. In fact, those 2000 bans were pointless. This would have been fixed regardless once they find out about it. Sure he added severity to the issue but I refuse to believe this shit was out of the "goodness of his heart." Then again, trying to stop a halfwit with a god complex from grasping any opportunity to self validate themselves is an exercise in overwhelming futility. You'd have a higher success rate trying to make adaptive AI with a box of grapenuts and a Speak N Spell. It's a shame really. A walking, breathing waste of potential. Imagine if he devoted that kinda effort to something other than winning the hearts and minds of the internet's lowest common denominator. "But this teaches them not to have loopholes in their code!" says a large mass of people who's knowledge of programming starts and ends with "I heard it makes computers go."

Overwatch. Had a few really good games as Hanzo, Widow and Reinhardt.

OT: So the MLG "snyper 4 lyfe" players have started showing up in Overwatch and it's gotten so bad that to even have fun I have to jump between several different matches just find one NOT held at a stand still because the sniper's so good she always has her see-through-walls ult up. Her health needs to be reduced or something. She has more health than one of the supports who needs to be in line of site and mid range to enemies just to be more than sorta useful... Why is it so damn hard for game companies to make snipers actually fun to play AGAINST. The sound of that rifle should NOT be followed by the desire to quit the game and do something else.

Overwatch. The irony of a tracer calling me as Winston annoying is not lost on me. They then proceeded to flip their shit so fantastically when they lost that I'd never been more happy for a mute button.

Well you ARE in the land of the undead. Also once you learn enemy behaviors, attacks, and patterns, the game becomes less grindy. If you want my suggestion to make the first playthrough less of a hellrun, get the Zweihander. It's in the firelink shrine area and IMO the best strength weapon in the game. OT: Watching Youtube video's. I think I'll hop back on DS3 in a bit and help a few people out with the endgame areas.

Taking a break from Dark Souls 3. Game is significantly easier with a greatsword and some well gotten gud.

Dark Souls 3. Strength builds really are the easiest it seems. Solo'd the 2 bosses I've had the most trouble on(to the point of having to get people to help me beat them), one on the first attempt and the other on the second attempt.

But it was fair before. D: It was the kinda balance I like in a game which is for every class there's a soft and hard counter and the skill comes from learning how to play around those. I'm not saying that's gone but the lines have definitely blurred a little. Honestly I miss charging in as classic demopan and batting some unsuspecting player across the room or going the croc sniper and countering their other sniper holding the game at a standstill. Just a lot of what I loved the most about it has been lost over the years. Don't let my ramblings bring you down though. If you like the game the way it is then please keep enjoying it. Just an older player wanting to go back to an older game. Kinda like me and WoW. OT: Doom again.
