Waiting at the orthopedic office to get my knee looked at and wondering why every single waiting room I go to has an old lady who stares at me very intently the entire time.

I doubt this is truly where we would all stand on the political spectrum. I think it's more like throwing a dart and where it lands is loosely where we stand. I'm not sure I even answered half those questions truthfully because none of them had a "I don't really care" or "indifferent" option so I had to choose one of two not entirely true answers.

Overwatch. Apparently My favorite champion Zenyatta is gonna get a big buff next patch which makes me happy. I already do pretty well with him despite him being possibly the least powerful character so this is gonna be fun.

Games that try too hard to be, well, hard, for the sake of attracting players by marketing just how hard they really are. This is kinda funny coming from a Soulsborne fan because those games do just that but on the other side of the coin they are well made games that reward you for overcoming it's difficulty. What I hate are the games that once you get past it's unfair hardness there's very little substance or even likability to the game. Games like Witcher 3 and and Dark Souls I like because once you learn it and adapt to it's difficulty there's a full game there. I have over 600 hours total in the Soulsborne series and over 100 hours in the Witcher 3 BECAUSE once I learned those difficulties, there was a huge, open, fun game there for me to experience. Not just "HEY WE'RE HARD THAT'S GOOD RIGHT? LOOK AT JUST HOW HARD WE ARE!"

Please refrain from backseat moderating. Tends to lead to issues. But yes, Psycho does have a point. Posts here are generally more constructive and are made for others to work with. One-line single-sentence responses tend to add little to nothing to the subject, and your recent posts here are mostly loosely related to the topic at their best. In the future please try to refrain from posting in a topic unless it's part of the discussion or relevant to the topic/subject. (Advice for everyone, really. ) Other than that, welcome to the forum.

I actually suggest you get a second opinion from another doctor if possible. From what I understand having medical anxiety and medical ADHD isn't actually possible since they affect the same parts of the brain. (may have interpreted that wrong when my psychologist told me that) Generally ADHD can lead to anxiety-like symptoms due to stress created by having trouble focusing when you need/want to. And unless you've experienced any traumatic events (I won't pry if you have) but you shouldn't have PTSD before any service. (Yes I'm aware that you can get PTSD without being in the military.) All in all, I suggest you get a second opinion and keep your head high. PTSD can be overcome and if you can learn some coping methods for ADHD and anxiety you should be able to still qualify. And as much as no one ever wants to hear it, keep yourself open to new possibilities. You may yet still find something you love to do and could even use that ADHD superfocus we can get to your advantage. As for me, I myself have been rather withdrawn from social contact lately due to stress. I tend to think far into the future and have given myself anxiety over knowing I'm probably never gonna have a good retirement plan. That combined with the stress of needing to get my fucked up knee fixed, which probably is a life-long problem anyways at this point, I've been kinda a wreck. Damaged cartilage doesn't grow back. It can only be operated on to cause less problems or replaced in surgery. :/

A bit less left leaning than I was before.

At this point the only reason i still have a facebook account is to keep in contact with a few friends who're actually still cool people. The rest however it's like every time I go there it's 100% fact-free political "discussion" (more like "Attack of the 2 Year Olds: Keyboard Warrior Edition") that consists largely of the fanatical right arguing with the fanatical left and both of them raising the bar on how stupid one could look. I don't think I can handle another person trying to use "left" or "right" as insults to discredit another. If you can't join into a discussion without name calling, passive aggression, semantics abuse, or opinions enforced as hard fact; political or otherwise; then kindly GTFO and please PLEASE let that door smack your ass clean off your body on the way out. And the same goes for those attempting to incite one of these playground fights.

Most notable are Terraria, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne. All of them I can't beat in one day without skipping the best stuff so i'll never do that. I did it once in Bloodborne just to see how fast I could go and that was it.

I converted the keycodes to strings, saved them in playerprefs and that was pretty much it but the amount of functionality I had just gained was astounding. I kinda want to be able to do that without playerprefs but to do so I basically need to tear a hole in the fabric of space via clever application of C#. Why they don't just let you do from the MonoBehaviour library baffles me. @Jeb: Thank you. Though this time it was more a self-directed crash course in Unity's animation system and believe me there was crashing. Both metaphorically AND literally. I locked it up 3 times somehow... OT: Incredibly exhausted. If I was a smart person I would have stopped coding about 4 hours ago when my mind's eye passed away and my short term memory retention left the country, but nope. Here I am. Coding custom 0-360 degree angle checks on a single axis. Edit:

Ecstatic and excited to be working on my project right now. One of the biggest things bothering me was how to do a work around for our hacked together NPC animations what with us using a system not entirely what it was intended for. Basically we are using 2d Sprites in a 3d space for the npc's and depending on where you look at them from you see either the front, back, or the sides. Well for this to work properly every perspective needs to have it's own sprite animation set. This resulted in a mess of animation flow charts that was incredibly inefficient and damn near impossible to work with code wise. Then I found something called the Animation Override Controller. "This allows you to create multiple variants of the same basic state machine, but with each using different sets of animations." So basically I can use the same flowchart (idle to walk to run) for all 4 perspectives and only need to swap controllers in the code on perspective change. THIS MAKES IT TRIVIALLY EASY OMG.

Overwatch Ever since competitive came out the regular queue crowd has more or less been garbage. The past week I think I've encounted more tracer's than any other champ combined, and about 70% of the games I got today I was on a team with 2 genji's that couldn't define "team" if you gave them the URL to it's definition. Never thought I'd say this but I think I'm just gonna stick to competitive.

Witcher 3. I decided to respec for a hybrid between melee and alchemy use and this is the most fun I've had in the game in a long time. I do less raw unbuffed damage than before but with the boosted weapon oils I now do more damage against the monster type the oil is for than I did when I put the oil on top of my previous raw damage. Not to mention the oil lasts indefinitely or until I apply a new type and I have survivability out the ass.
