I didn't play much of Runescape but that map was enormous. Idk what you're talking about it being the tiniest map. O_o

My reasoning for thinking this was a bad move comes from a slightly different perspective. Everything that goes into the game goes in on budget. Time and money is spent putting these features into the game that I always viewed as being wasted on it. All of that could have been spent on more meaningful additions to the game. (content, polish, etc) Sure you could argue that the game is good enough as it is but not only is "good enough" something I'm against on principle alone (During my time at college, "good enough" came to mean "I don't want to do more than I have to". Not always the case no doubt but it sure is common), but even the best game could always be better and that little extra bit could help. Given that, an in-game store that's inconsequential and ultimately doesn't affect the overall experience becomes even worse for me because it's makes the time taken away from the core game itself wasted. No matter what angle I look at it from it always just feels like a wasted effort that isn't there for the benefit of the game. In the end I don't care how other people choose to use their money or whether or not in-game stores bother them. I just don't like them and these are my reasons why. If the game's good, cool. I may pick it up during a sale or something because money ran away from home. I'm just talking about the store feature is all.

OR. I will continue to compare the 2 and have fun with it. Old WoW is gone and that really does suck, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun in it's current state. If I'd had my way it'd still be the same style as it was back in wrath/earlier but giving credit where credit is due the game's in the best place it's been since Cataclysm.

You realize this happens every new expansion? Like literally since the launch of BC, the start of every expansion the new content sells for exorbitant prices on the AH. It'll balance out eventually once everyone settles in. The game itself is pretty fun as it stands, even if it isn't the old WoW. OT: Killing Floor 2. Trying out the new classes.

World of Warcraft. The economy is really screwed up right now and I'm making bank off of it right now. One of the new ores, Felslate, is going on my server for 100+ gold for a single unit and it's not even that hard to find it. I've already made 8000 gold today off felslate alone and I have another 3000 gold listing on shipment.

The difference is a lot of people who don't watch SW still know about that and a lot of people who don't play FF7 or it's spin-offs don't know about that. That and we do have a rule about using spoiler tags.

setup for dump files, download windows debugging tools and open any .dmp files in there and look for the error code if it has one. Usually the most accurate debugging I could find and helped me narrow down my computer problems back when my screen was going black and pc crashing. OT: Bored. To early to leave for class but too late to really do anything to pass the time that wouldn't be too much a commitment.

The reasoning behind Username's banning and subsequent unbanning is of the concern of Username and of the staff and is being discussed right now, amongst which it will stay. As for the rest of the post; you already have a long history of posting offtopic responses to threads which I've largely ignored since it was always relatively harmless, but to do so now just to throw unwarranted insults at another user will not be tolerated. Don't do it again.

It's also a matter of how much was cut. Cutting one or two things such as an enemy or weapon due to bugs or balance issues is fine, but cutting large or recognizable portions of the game is pretty bad. From what I'm hearing of the complaints is that the game doesn't really go anywhere; that late game is basically the same gather, sell, move to next planet routine as it was at start.

There's a lot more strategy and variation in Hearthstone the deeper you get into it but it takes a bit too long to reach that point imo. OT: Doom.

OT: WoW. I'm doing my least favorite pass-time of grinding out an achievement. I actually get something for getting this achievement which is the only reason why you even see my reputation grinding these enemies. Need 10000 more rep, each enemy gives 25, the once every 10 minutes boss gives 500. Wouldn't bee so bad if everything needed for the reputation was elite, meaning that while i can tank through their damage on my character, every fight takes like 2 minutes. Whoever had the brilliant idea to tie regional flying to a grinding achievement is an asshole. At least I only need to do this once since it's an all-character reward.

To me it's whatever gives a paying player a significant, uncounterable advantage over those who don't and/or locks content behind a paywall such as endgame areas or significantly powerful gear where the only way to access this game changing content is to shovel out money, generally in large amounts. I don't have a problem with paying to skip to later content that you'd be able to reach anyways because the only one's really affected by that are those who pay(maybe a bit anyone who plays with them as well but that's a gray area) Hell, WoW let's you buy max level character boosts which comes with appropriate gear yet the only ones really hurt by that are the people purchasing it because they now have a max level character they probably don't know how to play.

Have you even been so exhausted that you can see words and not understand them? That happens a lot in my line of work...
