lvl 14 lawbringer in first sitting. This is pretty fun and loving that Ultimate with the instant aim with all weapons. saved me in a bad spot many times. Also been laughing my ass off for about an hour now after I learned what the Carthartic Oz Pack does. Using the slam ability unleashes AOE corrosive damage and a noticeable fart sound. I'm such a child. Edit: There's only one thing that's truly worthy of editing this post for: "She's got layers. Like an onion made of boobs."

One of the games I'm building. It's coming along really well surprisingly.

Coming to the conclusion that afternoon League of Legends aram is basically bottom of the ELO barrel.

Getting in one last League game before finishing up my homework. 2 am homework runs are fun.

This exactly. I still enjoy the second since it retained a bit of what made me like the first one, but the third one... sigh. If it were a standalone shooter it'd be great. The shooting felt exceptionally solid and the gameplay was relatively fun. But it wasn't F.E.A.R. It had little to nothing that made me love the first the way I did. No intelligent story, no engaging atmosphere, no open-ended side-story. The second one lost a bit of that but it still managed to save itself by keeping the story somewhat intriguing. But the third... It had like 1 level, the warehouse, that sorta got close to it but they still didn't do it well enough. It felt too forced. It was basically a competitive coop fps that had F.E.A.R. slapped on the cover of it and that really upsets me. As for series themselves: Pre-Playstation 2 Final Fantasy games Final Fantasy Tactics subseries Infamous Killzone Elder Scrolls S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (except Clear Sky.)

Skullgirls. Fun game but I hate the online. Nothing but infinite combos and projectile spammers. The 2 biggest reasons I tend to avoid fighting games like these. >

To my knowledge she still had some involvement in season 2 if not more than a consultant of sorts. Season 3 and 4 I believe she had no involvement at all. I like to think of it as season 3 being harder for them since the one responsible for the shows success in the first place was no longer around and season 4 being them starting to learn from some of season 3's mistakes. My thoughts though. Like many things I could be wrong about this. I'm actually curious now about what Faust is up to these days work wise.

That actually pisses ME off just reading about it. Denial of a phobia is a bad enough but forcing someone to go through with an action that puts them in the line of fire for the phobia is even worse. People get seriously hurt from that, both in body and mind. I had a moment like that earlier this year. It was after psychology class (the irony) where we watched a video involving earlier methods of "surgery" in the field of psychology. Long story short watching an actual lobotomy happen with nothing hidden or censored left me more than just the slightest bit uncomfortable and uneasy. Now there's a number of things I have phobias of and most of them aren't severe enough to affect my daily life. Except for one: Cockroaches. To say I fear those little fucktards is understatement of the year. I have no reason to, but by god I can't stand them. Now back to the story. I just got home, and it was monday so that means take the trash out. Being that the class was at night it was quite obviously dark out. Dark is another one I have a slight fear of. I can do fine in most cases but I prefer not to be outside in the dark, especially by myself. Fortunately enough taking the trash out was uneventful. Did 0 to help my currently uneasy though. I got back inside, thoroughly upset at this point, get into my room, then open up my backpack to take out my laptop. Boom. Cockroach right inside my bag, sitting on top of the laptop. This is where I snapped. I carried the bag to the back door as fast as my shaking legs would take me, struggled to get the door open, and almost threw the whole bag out there, laptop and all. if the laptop wasn't strapped down it would have been out in the backyard broken along with the wretched insect. I then ran back to my room locked the door, and sat on the bed in the fetal position hyperventilating and crying while my friend(god bless this person) tried his best to calm me down over skype. This was easily my worst reaction to the things. I normally just get creeped out and speedily vacate the immediate area but the stars aligned that night to give me the worst panic attack I've ever had. Worst of all, everyone else thought I was overreacting, which is true when you think about it, but I couldn't help it. I honestly couldn't. That's why I love that friend so much. We give each other shit on a daily basis (in a overall friendly way) but when I really need someone there to understand and help, he doesn't even think twice. tl;dr, I feel for you. Phobias combined with ignorance are horrible things.

Probably a good idea. Panic attacks are no fun.

You should get to a doctor as soon as you can. Even if you've had your tetanus shot, I wouldn't risk it with the nails.

I'm not even gonna properly rant today I'm just gonna say this and be on my way: People who infinite combo in ANY fighting games are the worst. If you truly wanted a one sided fight, why would you even bother playing online? It's not like anyone is gonna be impressed after you ruin their play experience. Not like they actually care though. They have their active imagination to amaze.

There's no prize for being the biggest insomniac and there's certainly no need to be rude about it.

League of Legends. I know it's kinda cliche to complain about poor team mates but... ugh... They could at least try to fight instead of spend the whole game running and dying. :/ It's like they only fight if they know they're gonna die anyways.

League of Legends champ select music.

This has been the slowest day I've had in a long time... Like, forums have been dead today, no one I know is online, everyone at school is unusually quiet. It's like Mediocre: The Holiday.

Well that is handy. We could do that but he isn't a gamer after all so he doesn't have a computer powerful enough for anything past 2010 games. I'm not even gonna try to convince him to get a gaming PC though. Not even the whole "Cheaper in the long run" argument would help. Biggest problem with the sharing though, He wouldn't be able to play anything if I have a program running. That means basically most of the work day when I'm either playing a game with friends or building something in CryEngine.

Thanks, I try. I find I can actually finish things when I give myself deadlines. Also no one ever believes me when I say I use the mouse and MSP. I know MSP has a bad rep just for drawing in general but I find it's fantastic for sprite work. I do non-sprite stuff sometimes but I wouldn't really call it art due to how simple it is. 1920x1080 image incoming. You can find the rest of my 3D stuff on DA. I'm curious about the 3D one. Was that made in an engine or an actual 3D program? If it was an engine, was it made with engine assets? Regardless of the answer it looks pretty good. A very complete feel that unfortunately a lot of 3D work I've seen lacks.

Welcome Kyudere, we're weird here and it's normal. You may refer to me as either My current name, blightmare, or simply blight/y. Most people use the latter anyways so feel free. ^_^ Enjoy your time here!

Depends on the person. If they don't focus their life around games, and just only play games that they see in commercials or advertisements (aka a lot of non gamers who still play from time to time) which hover around 20-60 anyways (I have yet to see a console game over 60 that isn't some special package and I was browsing the ps4 and xbone titles a couple weeks ago at a gamestop while passing time at the mall), then yes, a console is cheaper. On top of that to build a decent gaming rig you need to have some technical knowledge on what's good and what isn't. This can be solved obviously with a bit of research, but both of these take time that I doubt these people either have or want to devote to especially if games are a simple pass time to them. AND THEN, there's the case of my family, where I'm not the only game player in the house and if I get a game on the PC, then the other misses out because it's tied to my steam account. Not to mention I'm the only person in the house with a modernized computer so theirs can't run it even were they to pay the extra price. I would let them use my PC if it wasn't also my work computer therefore needing me to keep in check anything and everything that gets put on it. The work around? We have consoles that can easily move between rooms. If there's a game we both want to play, well hey, a console game works. We can both play it, and we payed the EXACT same price as the pc copy (I check these after each purchase. Kinda my thing). Seriously not everyone in the world is a gamer and so it's good that consoles exist. Now lets drop this before this is no longer about Alien: Isolation and yet another pointless internet platforming war. If people really wanted to argue over the best/most efficient way to go about something, they could at least pick something more life important than what you choose to play your games on. Seriously, enough of this. It's gonna derail more than it already is. Start a topic about it if it means that much. That being said, both my brother and I really want to play this game and he plans on getting a PS4 soon anyways to play Destiny and I figured since a console version would be best for the situation, I'll be waiting to purchase it until then. It will be 10 dollars more but that's still cheaper than the alternative.

About once every week I get these nights of sleep I call no-rest. It's not a full on sleep because for the course of like 8+ hours I'm 100% conscious of my surroundings and that I'm laying in bed, etc. But I'm uncomfortable and uneasy the whole time. On top of that, it always comes with a dream that follows a format of me trying to achieve something, failing, and starting back at the beginning of the dream. The dream is very stressful and on constant loop until I actually get up and force myself to move around. And worst of all, when I do get up, and the rest of the day, I feel like I just skipped sleep that night, so I pretty much put myself through 8 hours of stress and discomfort for no reason. Worst of all there are some times when this will happen 4+ days in a row and I'm essentially useless during them because I'm so tired and unable to function and no matter how hard I try to get decent sleep I slip into these.
