  1. I only got one off the top of my head for now: Hank Made Me Vomit Or You Are My Forever-Shining Guardian Light But Tou Can Still Suck A Fat Dick - Renard Queenston
  2. I don't know, I sure didn't get the feeling that it was a for-fans movie. It broke a lot of the formula the movies have been following and showed the darker side the series usually glossed over. It's basically everything that set episode 4 in motion and it did a very good job of doing that I feel. It was refreshing to see them try something new and still be faithful to the series.
  3. Star Wars: Rogue One I don't care what anyone says, this is possibly my most favorite Star Wars movie now. 10/10 would do nothing different.
  4. I should pop in this subforum more often. Only just now saw this. -.- Looking over the Bingo code I'd say by modern standards, that's a pretty standard structured code. For when it was done however (and being done for a class as well) that's pretty impressive(especially on . Back then coding practice was still in it's development so there was a lot of unnecessary or inefficiently coded programs. Good use of loops especially, since it would seem a majority of the heavy lifting is done in that. The lack of whitespace is distressing to look at but the computer doesn't read whitespace anyways and obviously it wouldn't be in 100 lines if it was there. @Helio: Primary Unity programmer here as well. C# is my strongest language but I also can do C++ and Java(to a lesser level since I'm less familiar with the syntax of those 2 but enough to work with) and Visual Basic. I don't recommend VB for much of anything outside of standard computer programs. It's got a lot some annoying limitations that take far too much to deal with that C does much better and easier, such as arrays and event handling. If you don't know about it already, Catlike Coding is an insanely good learning resource for intermediate to advanced unity programming. The tutorials this guy makes are VERY in-depth and it's some of the best coding practices I've ever seen. I've even used his clock tutorial in a game I'm working on for a clock tower (alterted to serve it's purpose for ingame time instead of realtime) Is it possible to get an understanding of what level you're at? Like code example or projects you've done? I'd like to know if I can go to you for help sometimes, help you with anything sometimes, or even both. Also, some of the Unity practices I learned through my time. There's more but I can't recall them right this moment: And if anyone cares, for the visual basic class I had last quarter I made a short GUI driven text adventure. This apparently really impressed the instructor enough to boost my grade to an A when I fell just short. Link
  5. WPJpXu1O7mM Now here's a song that's not for everyone.
  6. TurboBurger: Buy an Absurdo Burgo with any Cheezo and get a Doubleburger Bacon Supreme absolutely for $1.99!
  7. Factorio Oil technology (sort of) acquired. Not entirely sure how to use this efficiently.
  8. I'm trying to comb my hair and it's got some nasty knots in it. Underneath the upper half of the knot is a healing cut after hitting my head on something pointy, and just bellow that is a muscle spasm that not only makes it hard to turn my head but hurts insanely when pressure is applied.
  9. Oh god I know of DSP very well. You don't go long as an active fan of Soulsborne and not find out about that guy. I actually knew of him back when he did his Metal Gear Solid series and made a fool of himself there(The End fight was exceptionally painful).
  10. Overwatch Competitive with a friend. Not only did I manage to work my way back up to diamond, but it was done with the weirdest mindset and setup. The whole time my friend was hoping we'd actually lose a lot because they wanted lower rank to play with a different friend but not willing to throw the match. We went 6-2 total; 3-0 as Lucio and Symmetra, 1-1 as Dva and Symmetra, and 2-1 as Torbjorn and Symmetra. The reason the last combination is significant is because both the heroes are always told to switch off. No one ever wants to play with them, especially on attack. In the second win with that combination the people on our team were like "I don't understand? How?!" well here's how: Symmetra and Torbjorn = a possible 900 extra health amongst the team. That and a torbjorn who can land headshots kills better than most dps, as if targets with less than 191 hp die in one headshot. I can land headshots. In the end that was the most fun I've ever had playing comp, even if the entire time people were mad at us. IDK why though, we won 75% of all matches.
  11. Rotten Tomatoes has a section separated from user reviews that people employed as reviewers for magazines/websites can post theirs, and that's the score that usually gets displayed when you look up a movie. For example if you look up the Final Fantasy XV movie it'll show a RT score of 13% but if you go to the site itself that's from the 15 critics that do that as a job. The actual user rating from every day is about 72%. I'd say you're more of a critical person when it comes to these mediums than an actual critic(weird saying that considering the origin of the word "critic"), which I don't have a problem with at all. To me a critic should be able to recognize and convey both objectivity and subjectivity, even in the presence of overwhelming like or dislike. Their aim should be to help others decide if something is worth their time before they devote it, and the only way to do that is to convey as much about not only their personal experience but the actual movie/game/thing as they can. Going into the review and seeing someone who's apparently a reviewer for the New York times suggest that I may be brain addled should I go see the movie and enjoy it is NOT what a critic should be doing. That's the kind of thing I expect to see my overly opinionated person-I-went-to-school-with-some-time-in-the-past post on facebook the exceedingly few times I actually go there, not from someone I'm expecting to help me decide if the movie might be something I'd want to see.
  12. The dumbshit's guide is a blessing. I especially like the part in the painted world when the NPC invasion happens.
  13. Well no wonder so many people hate Rotten Tomatoes. It would seem that "Critics" can go there and barf out shitty opinions filled with the most insulting and vile words they can come up with and not have to worry about any consequences for being a total asshole to creators. Pretty convenient. Hell half of them aren't even proper reviews, and instead more like smear pieces aimed at the creators' character rather than the movie. That being said at least that site has user reviews and I take intense delight when I see people calling out critics for being pieces of shit. I've gotten to the point where the lower the Rotten Tomatoes score is, the more likely I am to watch it because every time I do I usually enjoy the movie. Sure almost none of them are cinema masterpieces and some are pretty obviously low budget but still enjoyable for what they are. And if a critic can't even acknowledge that then what good are they? These are people who are employed to do this and random users on steam write astronomically better reviews than these jokes. I haven't even seen the movie they're panning but their wording is infuriating because they're basically implying that if I do see the movie and enjoy it then I'm braindead. Like, fuck you, maybe you're the one who's braindead if you can't even accept that other people might like something you don't without being a total waste of protein about it.
  14. I just hit my foot against a solid block of wood used for my desks leg and I'm watching the bleeding under the skin do its thing. Pretty sure I just broke a blood vessel.
  15. Titanfall 2. The Volt smg is so god damned overpowered I almost feel bad for using it. Almost. The recoil of the others compared to this is inexcusably bad. Also that one guy getting incomprehensibly mad at me for winning every close range encounter with melee was weird. You'd think after the 4th attempt failing with punching air he'd realize you actually have to have the reticle on the person you're trying to melee for it to land.
  16. 3JV74i4yvcA These lyrics are weird but the song is catchy as all hell.
  17. -xk52A3y9rw I love this kind of music but it's so hard to find.
  18. Titanfall 2. I'm getting better at the multiplayer. All about that Hemlock. Also I managed to trade kills with someone after we each dropped our titan on top of the other.
  19. Sticking my reply in a spoiler cuz it's more a vent than I'd like. This isn't directed at you, just a response laced in heavy residual stress.
  20. Factorio That moment when it takes all of this bullshit: To make this bullshit: This game is oddly addicting.
  21. Wolfenstein: Old Blood This game felt shorter than New Order but idk if it actually was.
  22. "Yeah I'm on break for several months! Now I can get in contact with all my friends more consistently!" *get's violently ill for a week and can't sit at a computer for more than 20 minutes at the longest.*
  23. I always thought it was the heaviest of the bunch. Unless you got the ones without the analog sticks. THOSE were light.
  24. RIP Carrie Fisher. This year just couldn't end without one last "fuck you" could it?
