  1. Knowing how Kojima gets with his difficulties, that may not be the best way for me to start playing the game. XD Also I just grabbed Guns of Icarus Online. Was only $2.25 and I've had my eye on it for a while. Hopefully I can fin some friends to play with. Edit: oh yeah and also Age of Mythology. I lost my old disks so I'm happy to have it again. :3 EditEdit: And just grabbed The Forest. I have a bit too much money to spend this sale.
  2. Back to reading again but I think i'm gonna call it a night now.
  3. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Stupid name aside, I see nothing but good things about this game so I figured 5 dollars is a fair price to pay for giving it a shot. Now to just wait the 3 days it's gonna take to download this damn thing. ugh. Also I'm gonna say I just got Project Zomboid but apparently I've had it for a while and didn't know it? Never thought I'd reach the point where I'd find games in my Steam library I didn't know I had. O_o
  4. Too bad you aren't in my area, I have a free range a few miles away, and I just don't have anyone to compete with. (I used to be able to put 3 out of 5 in the bullseye at 50 yards with a 35lb bow, and my last go was a 60lb that I got no bullseyes out of 20 shots at 20 yards) There's actually a really nice range about 15-20 minutes from where I live but last I heard they were fighting to keep it open because it's by the bottom side of a cliff where the top of the cliff is a rich community that apparently thinks it's an eyesore, even though you can't actually see anything happening from atop the cliff because there's way to many trees. <_< I hope they're still open. Now that I have some time on my hands again I could probably go back there. Actually become good at archery for once lol. Maybe even build up some arm strength to actually use a stronger pull. So far all i have is a 25lb long bow. Yeah I know, I'm a weakling lol. I did make a set of 12 arrows myself and they fly really well so I'm happy about that, though a few of them have age damage on the fletching, and 2 of them have completely fallen off. :/
  5. Minecraft. Playing a modded game mod called SkyBlock/SkyFactory where you start off with a tree on a single dirt block suspended over a death abyss. I finally have a mob-farm set up and a cobblestone generator as well as a house. These mod packs let you do crazy-ass things O_o
  6. I used to fire off those small rockets as well. Last time I did it the parachute failed to deploy and it went tip first into a rock, compressing into half it's height lol. Haven't really went to do it since. Mostly time and money reasons. As for hobbies, Reading Making games Playing games Anime/manga Archery, though I haven't gotten to do that in years either
  7. Kfc3zcnrWMQ
  8. Resident Evil 4 and Outlast: Whistleblower
  9. Playing some Kingdom Hearts 1.5. The only game I know for sure right now that doesn't seem to want to crash my PS3. >:/
  10. Drinking Eggnog, reading, and thoroughly enjoying the thought of not needing to do homework for once. Odd feeling.
  11. There's Klingon's on Uranus.
  12. When people model characters off of someone existing, there's always a little bit of liberty taken. That and perfect recreation is hard as hell. I also think the lighting and shading around the eyes in the game render may be accentuating that a little bit too. I also remember hearing that story about Mel Blanc. Possibly one of my favorites as well. There was another I heard about Steve Blum, the voice of Wolverine from the cartoons. I don't remember all the details I just know he wasn't officially trained in voice acting. He used to work at a studio and was caught "doing crotchety voices in the mailroom"
  13. I tend to get super interested and involved in a lot of my activities, very often to the point of harming my health. The most common result being sleep deprivation due to not wanting to stop what I'm doing. Some notable examples: -Global Game Jam 2014, I didn't sleep for the entire duration. I was awake from about 10:00 am friday, didn't sleep till about 11:00 pm sunday. Got the worst flu in years the following week. -a couple months ago I stumbled across a story I really liked that was over 100k words. I read a good 70k in one sitting, not even stopping to eat or sleep. I ended up slipping into a low blood sugar attack so bad I could barely walk to the kitchen. -numerous times during highschool when I'd get a new game, I'd play it all through the night and then end up too tired at school to focus. I'm very certain I'm not gonna live the longest of lives due to this habit but since my family line has been known to really go downhill harshly in old age, I'm not bothered by the prospect of not living to see 70. As dark as this sounds, I would honestly rather live a shorter but ultimately fun-filled and fulfilling life than not and hitting senior years and then have half the mental problems associated with it destroy the last few years of my life.
  14. That moment when you realize Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 was only added because the voice actor went off character at the auditions so well they wanted to have him anyways and thus even modeled Vaas after the actor. Vaas: Vaas's Actor dressed as Vaas: I like stories like these :3
  15. I think it's chrome and it's anti-phishing and malware option. I turned that off and it downloaded fine. turn it back on after if it makes you uncomfortable.
  16. drying my hair and preparing for a mock job interview. After this my graduation will finally be official and not just implied lol.
  17. My occupation currently is freelance game designer/game scripter. Occupational hazards? Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. In both wrists. When ever I'm not on the computer, both my hands are in braces.
  18. Watching youtube videos and marveling at how there exist roleplaying severs for asymmetrical shooters(?) mmo's and Garry's mod I can understand. But a shooter? How does that even work?
  19. The long term goal is to market it, hence why I'm not using public or free assets. As for chrome thinking it's malware, I believe that's the sight instead of the game, unless it's not doing that for the other.
  20. X-men: First Class : 7/10 I woulda given this a 9/10 because it honestly was fun to watch, but
  21. it said nothing about copying text. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.
  22. "I can't wait to start my kickstarter campaign to put solar panels on the heads of bald people."
  23. Reading. "Storm" keeps knocking out my internet. Even the connections in California can't handle a little weather.
  24. Well hopefully they can get it through their head soon that if they can't even manage a few homework assignments, then, as harsh as it sounds, there's no room for them in the industry. For every lazy modeler, there's 2 more eager to take their place. Some of them didn't even seem bothered to be failing, like they know what they do is sub-par and they're fine with it; and I can't understand that thinking. The fear of failing this quarter is what drove me to work as hard as I did. Also it didn't sink in at the time but I'm finally starting to realize... I'm actually done. Anything that happens from this point on is up to me. Like no more sacrificing personal ideas for the sake of homework assignments. I can actually work on all those ideas that keep popping into my head but could never make time for. I'm quite excited about this actually. A wise man once said, "Fuckin' finally." First things first though. I'm gonna take the upcoming holidays as a much needed break/vacation and finally let go all that stress. Come January I think I'll start on my ideas. Also job hunting. That's important too.
