  17. My most favorite quote of all times is by Eli Wiesel from the book Night, written about his time in Auschwitz. “Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, which has turned my life into one long night, seven times cursed and seven times sealed....Never shall I forget those moments which murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to dust. Never shall I forget these things, even if I am condemned to live as long as God Himself. Never.” - Eli Wiesel I do recommend everyone reads that book sometime. It's a hard read especially considering it's a true story, but I feel that's what makes it important. Other than that, these 2 have been kinda a personal motto of mine ever since seeing them: "Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom." - General George S. Patton "If you're going through hell, keep going" - Winston Churchill That last one has almost been a mantra to me. Whenever I'm going through something hard, I just remember that and keep going. Hasn't failed me yet. Edit: can we include snippets of lyrics?
  18. Banned for breaking the flow of things. Yeah I saw what you did there. *squinty eyes*
  19. Castle of Glass - Linkin Park
  20. I don't like using the phrase "I'll listen to anything if it sounds good" because I feel like a lot of people don't really believe when people say that, so here's my spotify playlists to give an example. Now for music I'm more likely to listen to, that has to be electronic. Mostly because electronic itself can mean so many different things. From instrumentals to lively music to chill music, I can find all that under the electronic genre. And due to how accessible the creation software is becoming these days there's more than enough new tracks coming out on a weekly basis to explore through so I never run out of content. Other than that, I couldn't care less about the genre if the lyrics can make me stop and think. I love intelligent and well-written lyrics. Probably why I stick to only instrumental jazz and blues. I've heard more tacky lines about love and feeling down/blue come from that genre than any of the others combined. (especially "I love you" and "I'm so blue". god, too many songs use these as a crutch)
