Things will go boom. I heard somewhere that they haven't even started, but if you listen to the commentary for episode 2 (I love commentaries!) they mention that the idea to use a gravity gun and dropped mines to defeat a gunship was a concept they were working on for episode 3. And it worked so well they just moved it to episode 2. So, have they started? If so, what is taking so long? I blame TF2 hats.

You don't know much about game developers I'd say. How'd you guess? I probably should have left this topic alone, come to think of it. Ah well.

Knights of the Old Republic. Good story, interesting characters, and nostalgia. I still play it to this day. I recommend it, but don't expect it to be awesome. The set conversation animations and outdated graphics will probably remind you that came out in 2003.

Huh, I'd heard about Jack Wall and Clint Mansell, but the Kelly Bailey thing I hadn't heard. I'd wondered about it though, because it seems the last thing he scored was Episode 2. Mike seems to have scored everything since then. Honestly, I think Mass Effect will be okay, but I'm going to miss Kelly's music in Half-Life.

I enjoyed it... but it still has some issues that I attribute to Japanese storytelling. Still, it sure was a nostalgic game. And the soundtrack is badass, you got that right.

Didn't Ross have something to say about Ads? I don't quite remember it, but I think the bottom line was he thinks they're invasive.

I think one should have an image of Gordon's head, yelling, and underneath it a quote of him yelling something. Because, y'know, if we had to have a quote of him yelling there'd be tons of funny quotes to choose from. Also: "Give Peace a chance! Or at least stand still!"

Yeah, I've been staring at that thing hoping it would update since Ross announced that the Tunnel was finished. Glad I'm not the only one OCD about this.

Well, if you listen to one of his interviews (the podcast one I think) Ross says that when he came up for the idea for Freeman's Mind, he was originally going to start in Half-Life 2 because there was a lot more he could interact with. But didn't because he felt starting in the sequel would be weird.

Let's see... My name is Copeland Williams, and as poor consol-tard, my experience with Valve came from the 360 copy of Left 4 Dead. Which is one of my favorite games of all time. After listening the the comentary, I realized how awesome Valve was. I made sure I bought Left 4 Dead 2, my faith was further rewarded. One day I saw the Orange Box for sale ($20), saw it was by Valve, and decided to take a chance. Best buy I've ever made in my life. After becoming obsessed with Half-life, I was watching random videos related to it on youtube, I saw this thing called Freeman's mind. I watched it. One thing led to another and... here I am. Nice to meet all of you.

Dang it! I read through the whole forum to see if my favourite bit was qouted, get to the second-to-last page, and there it is. Him flying into the ceiling. Oh well.
