  1. When I figure something out that will bypass the government & corporate control of the media... I have an interesting looking lead on a method, but I'm not holding my breath.
  2. A little hypocritical, is it not? Not in the slightest. Stealing a physical object removes it from the possession of the original owner, whereas digital stealing simply makes a copy without removing anything from the original owner's possession.
  3. Actually, Mars isn't at the top of the list for easiest to colonize... That distinction is reserved by some of the moons of Jupiter & Saturn. Mars is just closer, and is closer to Earth's gravity. (slightly) I personally prefer the idea of colonizing the asteroid belt, because then we can also mine the resources from them. Space travel would still be very dangerous outside of Earth's electromagnetic field due to solar radiation, and the all-too-common solar flares.
  4. Actually, I'd just give you a decent meal for free... I'm a far better cook than McD's, and far less expensive. And for stealing, I would definitely consider being shot for it as a fitting punishment. (not digital stealing though)
  5. Yes, but doing it because it's necessary means it is no longer an evil action. It is evil only if pleasure is derived from other's suffering.
  6. Evil is if you were doing it for your own pleasure, this isn't an accurate evil test...
  7. It takes building up to, but if built properly violence is unbelievably powerful. I've been trying to write up a plan, but I've been hitting a few walls. (they usually occur when the government has control of the media, and/or are willing to bypass the bill of rights to protect itself from it's own citizens)
  8. No it isn't... Violence is the only thing that governments are capable of hearing, and even then they will try to skew it.
  9. Gigabyte made the package deal if that's what was in the package. Most dealers do have deals, but for Newegg those are only the Eggbuster/daily deals, not the packages.
  10. Those package deals are manufacturer based, not Newegg based.
  11. Ok, here's a preliminary build for you... Gigabyte H61 Socket 1155 Motherboard £59.67 Intel Core i5-2300 Processor £142.31 Asus GeForce GTX 550 Ti Video Card £98.74 Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM £17.99 (get 2, so £35.98) WD 500GB 3.5" SATA 6Gb/s Caviar Blue Hard Drive £59.99 Casecom Black Mid Tower Case £19.98 CIT 550w Power supply £23.24 Samsung DVD burner £11.98 Total price is about £450. Or you can get a better video card to increase the price... Gainward GTX 560 2GB GDDR5 Video Card £174.89 (+£76) Inno3D GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5 Video Card £239.99 (+£141)
  12. Not exactly... There are better components out there for less. (like the 1155 chipset processors) Give me a day or two, and I'll have a build for your budget.
  13. Favorite RPG: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun Coming now to your table-top!
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun That, NOT what they did for a crappy game by FASA that uses the same name. Add that to the total immersion matrix mode gaming system described previously, and it would be a game I would never need to leave, apart from eating and relieving myself. (and those could be done by machine too)
  15. Just a tip, you can use your Alchemy to make potions that improve your enchanting, and then use your improved enchanting to improve your alchemy, then use the improved alchemy to improve enchanting further... After a while you can make a Daedric Dagger that has a Notched Pickaxe enchant that does 220000 shock damage, and smithing improvements can make it do in the millions of damage normally. It takes forever, but you'll max out the smithing, enchanting, and alchemy skills, and you'll have one-hit-kill weapons with impenetrable armor.
  16. YOU WENT TO PLAID!
  17. About 45% of pirates already own the material they pirate. They deserve none of the punishment that's been heaped on them. Then there are others that would never purchase the product without being able to test it first, like test driving a car, and they pirate only to test it. How is that in any way detrimental to anybody except companies that charge exorbitant amounts for crappy software? *cough*EA*cough*Record Companies*cough* Only about 2% of the pirating scene is outright illegally pirating things, and they are pretty thoroughly frowned upon by the entire rest of the pirating community. This I agree with.
  18. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/02/06/google_earth_atlantis/ Atlantis exists no more... Google erased it... *sniffle* :'(
  19. That same rebuttal is better used against the evolution argument, since it was known that the world was not flat long before secular interests proclaimed it to be flat.
  20. http://www.score-music.com/tracklist.html Only way to get the music is from bad quality YouTube videos, or a torrent. (it isn't anywhere anymore)
  21. It isn't Newegg that is at fault. The problem is with the manufacturer, and AMD. If you want it to work the first time without needing a BIOS update, go for Intel. (they have significantly fewer problems, and the performance/price ratio is better)

    IRC

The IRC 'section' link ended with this set of messages... Hope it was just me getting on before you finished making the IRC channel.
  23. Evolution isn't a theory that supports some facts, it's a theory that is supported by facts. Sorry, mixed up my wording.
  24. Anonymous doesn't really exist, it's just a hoax. Also, no serious hacker would ever be a part of such a group.
  25. So far as I can tell, everybody seems to think that the USA is a democracy... It isn't. It is a democratic republic. That means we vote in the people who vote in the people who run the country.
