Tribes series is essentially the aftermath of the Earthsiege/Cyberstorm series... Same universe, different eras. I personally prefer the Earthsiege series, and wish they would make a new version of it. (Cyberstorm as well)

Wanting to do something, Potato computer

You mentioned a GT750, that will do a decent framerate at medium settings in F4, and good framerates in Skyrim. (if properly setup, 20-30 FPS in F4, or 30+ in Skyrim) -
But you do need to have some sort of endgame... Giving no form of ending is like putting someone in a sandbox with ants, they soon want to get out. Just a little something, not ending the play, but acknowledging what they have done in the world. Could even be as simple as a dialog box after a certain amount of in-game time summarizing their choice and relationship statuses... (possibly even having that be a recurring thing, with certain minor perks/rewards based on the results)

Up to 135 hours now... (Fallout 4)

For a simple machinima, you might want to consider trying something in Skyrim or Fallout 4... Fallout 4 would probly be the better option of the two, but you'll have to wait for the GECK to be released. There are a LOT of engines that can be used for machinima. Most of the engines you mentioned were only popular for the fact that many people had experience modding them anyways, not because they are easy or fun to make machinimas in. -
Fallout 4. Now at 107 hours played... Heading to bed... I won't dream about the Fallout environs, but I will have interesting dreams because of playing it.

I think it should be able to handle half points...

How the fuck was the holocaust something caused by Christianity? -
This is something taught to all military personnel in the USA. It is incorrect that this applies to everyone. It mainly applies to those who are withholding information by will, not out of fear. (unless it's an incredibly strong fear) Just really not easy to determine who it will or won't work on, so it's better to not bother. Torture can be physical or mental... So far everyone has talked about physical torture, but nothing about mental torture has arrisen. Mental torture would be someone who grabs your loved ones, and starts tearing off their fingernails in front of you, until you tell them the information they want. This can be an extremely effective method for most purposes, but is also among the worst violations of human rights I can think of. It is also the most common form of torture in the world today. (though the least publicized)

Oh well... Are you planning on implementing any of the settlement building aspects into your mod?

Weekends are when I get the least amount of game time... lol

Yeah, 80 character text-based monochrome interfaces, but true AI and robots... Parts from the distant past, and parts from the distant future. They skipped right over the transistor era and went straight to quantum computing. (no LCD displays anywhere, still using the oldest type of CRT displays) It's a very interesting feel.

94 now. Hey, I'm unemployed... What else can I do with my time?

I've been able to destroy NPC armor pieces several times... Maybe it's just on the synths... Can't wait for the GECK, should be interesting to see something besides a few hundred "change X sound to the John Cena theme".

The armor is location-based resistances, I think normal Fallout-style formula. (I'm not positive though, but I do see quite a few Deathclaws with an armor rating of 14, but they're even harder to kill than previous Fallout games) Also, the armors take damage and can be destroyed, leaving a limb/torso/head exposed. (and can be repaired at an armor crafting station) The same applies to power armor. (though I can't tell if your personal armor protects you after the power armor plates are destroyed or not)

Fallout is supposed to be in the 50's aesthetic, previous games were in less densely populated areas that were more heavily hit, and you never saw what was before the war in other games. When you combine all that together, it makes sense that the other games would have a very different visual style after 210 years of isolation from everyone else, and that the relatively well preserved Boston area would maintain a 50's era feel better than the rest. (and trust me, this definitely feels like late 50's era aesthetics) I don't see where you get the 'cartoonish' look from... I've never seen (or heard of) any cartoons that look even remotely like F4. As far as the 'brighter colors', they just aren't washed out colors. These are the colors that were used in the 50's, and they don't have any green (Fallout 3) or orange/tan (New Vegas) color overlays. (the ones that when a mod was made to remove them, became the most used mod in Fallout history) Look at the different design styles around the country today even... In the southwest, you get adobe and stucco houses with plenty of tan colors everywhere. You don't see that on the northeastern seaboard at all. About the military installations in Fallout 4, they have been designed to look more like real military installations. Concrete walls with grey painted metal everywhere. (I have yet to find one with any non-grey colors apart from a flag, toolboxes, faded olive drab/Vault-Tec blue crates, or yellow/red 50-gallon drums)

Fallout 4... 83 hours of it...
-
Well, I'm back, sort of... Been playing almost constantly since it unlocked. (already at 83 hours played, and 18 achievements) When combined with the Pip-boy app on my phone, this is the best FPS or RPG I've ever experienced. Can't wait for the first patch to fix the many minor bugs I've noticed.

14:00 for me... I'll probly be there.

The current system doesn't allow for fullscreen, or 60Hz video playback. You can just click on the YouTube logo to watch the video on YouTube though. That's what I've been doing, but that adds a 5 second delay, and quite a bit of duplicated data downloading. (it loads for the integrated player, and then has to load again for the full player on the Youtube site) In addition, I prefer to stay on a single tab when possible, because it reduces strain on my HDD. (I have an old HDD and can't afford to replace it right now, and the more tabs open, the more temp files written to/read from) In short, this requested update is to make everything simpler, faster, and make my HDD last longer.

Sounds interesting... Though I would like to suggest that the 6 days of the debuffs be something your character adapts to over time, say every 10 times the debuff occurs, you become 5% more resistant to it, to a maximum of say 50%. Maybe even throw in a few perks that reduce the duration of the effects.

But it's still better than nothing.

Pre-made alliance, we'll be on the same team... Not saying I'll be able to help much, but I rarely if ever am behind on tech production. Maybe I do the tech production, and you build the units, then we trade them...
